I will never use Booking.com again. We were overbooked and so were many other people waiting in line to check in who used your site. It is disgraceful that you take advantage of people this way.

I have been a Diamond Member for over 10+ years. I have over 900 nights stayed at Hilton properties. I booked this room for a concert, MONTHS in advance. Digitally check in at 7am. Have a digital keycard by 4pm. Go to the hotel at 1am after the concert and noticed my keycard is not available anymore. Go to the front desk to ask for it to be reactivated and she asked me the room number. I tell her and she said that room was reassigned to someone else. She said there were no other rooms and the hotel was overbooked by 8 rooms. While trying not to be too mean to the employee as I could tell she was near tears for having to tell us there were no room. The on duty manager didn't want to come out and speak to me, find another hotel for us or anything. I was forced to drive home nearly 5 hours at 2am. I woke up and called Hilton Sunday afternoon to explain the situation and seek compensation for the extreme burden caused by poor management. The manager lied and tried to say the reservation was "accidentally canceled." He offered a slap in the face compensation of 20k Hilton points. I have been given a free night for not having hot water for an hour at other properties. I have been given 10k points because of emergency maintenance causing noise. The reservation was cancelled by management the next morning to make it look like it was an error. So if you want to risk being stranded due to poor management. Good luck, if not... book elsewhere.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. We had to wait 2 hours after we got there to get a room because they overbooked and the front desk receptionist blamed me for using Expedia instead of their website saying that’s why we don’t have a room, and when we finally did get one it wasn’t even the room I booked! Then on the second night of our stay they locked our room keys and we had to go back to replace them, along with the parking key they gave us. And then the exit doesn’t even work to leave the parking lot! Overall -10/10 experience and we will NOT be coming back.
Any hotel can deliver when times are easy. True quality is demonstrated during challenging times. For airport hotels, those times are when there are multiple flight cancellations. They have prepared for such events. Not this Doubletree. Hilton should be embarrassed. The shuttle service was terribly managed. running every half hour made no sense. By the time they got to terminal D they were passing by full. One and one half hour wait for a shuttle is unacceptable. The front desk staff was rude and uncooperative. The lobby is unappointed, dirty and smelly. The cafe is "temporarily closed for remodeling." You can go into the bar and pay $4 for a coffee. A visit to the front desk to request a hair dryer went unheeded. This was the second Hilton property on our PA trip that was well below expectations. Hilton needs to make a visit and make changes.
Close to the airport with free shuttle. However, we had to wait a long time for the shuttle at the airport.
No free coffee available in the AM — that seems standard and should’ve been included with the price. The coffee in the room was not great.
Room was unready despite it being 1:00 pm. Was then forced to sit in the lobby and wait for it even though it was booked days in advance. Honestly worst hotel experience I’ve had in a while and the front desk lady acts like she has other things to do.
Air conditioning in the lobby was not working so I felt very sorry for the staff.
room was ok
the breakfast was very poor. could be much better
