This is a very beautiful classy hotel.. I loved how they had a little table and chairs on a patio outside of our room. That was nice. The only thing we didn’t like was when my husband laid out on the bed he sunk right in and the mattress did not have side Support and he almost fell right off the bed.
The only thing we did not like was how soft the mattress was and it had no side support and if you weigh over 200 pounds you’re gonna fall off the bed
We have stayed here several times and have always loved our stays. Great Hotel Pool and proximity to Red Rock Amphitheater.
Just how close it was and the pool area was nice and dinning area but rooms were not as listed on booking.com wasn’t a Mountain View no double room as it listed. Fridge was a mini fridge and resting area it said was just a cuck chair in the corner
The room was terrible and I called customer support and they said they would talk to the front desk and get me refunded 247 and never happened. Im not gonna use booking.com anymore room service wasn’t gable unless u used an app and the app wasn’t connected to ur room so the $200 hold was for nothing
Bed, a little too soft
The daytime staff was extremely friendly and nice. And both pool areas were nice and it was nice to have the option between the two. This hotel was extremely close for us to get into Red Rocks Amphitheater and a short drive to Evergreen. There is a Target and Whole Foods grocery store across the street if you're staying for a few days. And several decent chain restaurants near the hotel. The staff was able to get us into our room around 2am due to a flight delay with ease. And we found out they have a wheelchair we could use which was a huge help due my wife's recent neck surgery
The breakfast was similar to that of a basic hotel we stay in. And thought it would be a little higher quality. And the price on the weekend for the breakfast I felt was high.
Also the night time staff wasn't rude but they were definitely on a different vibe than the daytime staff. I could see other folks who are looking for a more friendly experience probably have a negative reaction to this.
Don't be fooled by the pics. This hotel is older than it looks, which you will notice walking through the halls with peeling wallpaper, thermostats dangling on the walls, and the very out dated furniture in the rooms. And the rooms are extremely small for a 4 day stay. The AC system was extremely poor, not moving any air around in the room at all.
Next is the balcony mountain pics, these were definitely falsely advertised. Most balconies are blocked by large trees and all overlook the parking lot. Maybe the one balcony where they got the pic from would be a good one to stay in.
Lastly, is the beds. We reserved a king size bed, 6 months prior and got two full size beds. Not even queen sized. These beds were terrible. Both mattresses you sank into the middle of the bed making it impossible for me to even sleep in the same bed with my wife.
The outdoor pool had three staff members working on a Saturday and two maintenance workers moving furniture. The pool area was riddled with cups, beer and Truly cans which not one staff member cleaned up.
Disappointing. This hotel is really not up to Marriott standards and is in need of updates and repairs. The furniture is nicked, dented and scratched, and pulled out from the walls. The lampshades are all set at angles. The bathroom towel holders appear to have been pulled off the walls and screwed back in at other spots, leaving holes in the wallpaper.
Having said that, I did request and received a wheelchair-accessible room, which did meet my needs. Time for an update.
Location is convenient
Looking worn, the floor in our room was soaking wet in about a 10 foot by 5 foot area. We mentioned it to the front desk and nothing was done.
Good location, close to multiple restaurants and mall.
We had an issue with the outlet on the study table lamp. Connected a hair dryer to it and after a minute it started sparking. Had to disconnect power to lamp. Front desk was notified.
What an amazing stay! Kimmy at the front desk when above and beyond to make sure all of my questions were answered and made me feel valued as a guest and as a bonvoy member.
Enjoyed how soft the beds were and the balcony aspect of the room for the nice breeze.
A bit pricey, we thought the balcony came with a hill/mountain view. The facilities in the bathroom were a bit outdated and the bathroom was very small. The hotel food/drinks were also very expensive so we only ate there one night. But I would say overall it was a decent stay here.
Location, style, bar & restaurant.
Dated, pool didn’t look clean, general upkeep. Rooms were certainly not clean, obvious dirt in rooms.
breakfast was excellent
evening meal and service was bad
had a "mountain view" but not so, more like interstate view
Petty little charges
Location
Beds way too soft and airco made a lot of noise. Tap was leaking when switched to shower and towel from pool had stains on it
Staff was helpful and competent. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was spacious and well designed.
View was of a building.
