Great 5 star hotel in a prime position
Pros:

5star hotel with great facilities in a prime riverside position. Personal service in the 8th floor cocktail bar with great views over the river. Very good and varied breakfast on the 8th floor also with views over the Rhone. Great A/C in the very hot weather. Easy parking below the hotel.

Oui ... mais !!!
Pros:

Proximité du centre ville, accueil, confort, services, climatisation, équipement, fonctionnalités. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel en raison de son emplacement à proximité immédiate de nos obligations du lendemain matin. Pris par ailleurs, nous n'avons ni dîné, ni déjeuné à l'hôtel et ne donnons donc pas d'avis sur ces thèmes.

Cons:

"Pas apprécié "n'est pas le terme qui convient, "Surprenant" est plus approprié pour un hôtel de cette catégorie (5 étoiles):
- chambre un peu exigüe, WC dans salle de bain qui est minuscule (environ 2 m2), unique vasque, douche méritant un peu plus d'entretien (certains joints de carrelage noirâtres), pommeau de douche entartré, mélangeur (et non mitigeur).
- chambre "encombrée", passages étroits, moquette périphérique au lit bien "râpée".
- ayant garé notre voiture en stationnement autorisé dans la rue, la réception nous a fortement suggéré le garage de l'hôtel (35 € la nuit) avec voiturier, la sécurité dans les rues du quartier étant qualifiée ... "d'aléatoire". Nous avons suivi le conseil.
En résumé : cet hôtel a dû être très bien ... au siècle dernier (années 70). Il ne justifie pas les prix pratiqués.
