The staff was unpleasant and unhelpful
No where to sit outside. Anytime we have stayed at Marriott they have complimentary self serve coffee. We went down to lobby at 6:25 am for coffee to go. Made us wait until exactly 6:30 am to pour us 2 cups of coffee to go for $12.00.The food was overpriced and subpar. 20.00 for 2 scrambled eggs & hash browns.Paid for a balcony room, usually has a couple chairs to sit outside. Barely big enough for 2 people and no where to sit. We did pull a small ottoman out of the room to sit. No makeup mirror. Charge 5.00 to use washer & 5.00 for dryer- clothes were completely dry at $3.00. The vending machine for soda/ water was $3.25 each, but did not give change nor would take it all in quarters. Hollywood breakfast & lunch was right around the corner. For 20.00 the plated breakfast was amazing and plenty of food. Coffee was 3.00 with refills. Maybe if the staff was not so rude and unhelpful the other petty things listed above probably would not have been a big deal.
Lots of construction around the streets on arrival.
It was a good location near Fisherman’s Wharf which is a central tourist location. They provided a restaurant which was reasonably priced and good food.
I had to check out before leaving the area and the luggage lockers were outsourced and a bit pricey.
Clean
Old school, very long corridor to get to the room, bar is depressing, noisy a/c in the room
Location, in-house coin laundry, water dispenser.
Front desk manager Welly, he is thoughtful and helpful.
Noisy environments.
The second floor is street level, window towards footpath and road.
Got told lies by two front desk ladies, one old lady wears mask lied in my face and the other indian lady on the phone just kept on interrupting me till I told her I need to talk to her manager.
The room was pretty good, and the housekeeping staff were consistently excellent and accommodating. The location is extremely good if you're visiting San Francisco regarding things to see/do and how easy it is to get transport.
I had a fairly long stay, but the fire alarm went off twice in a week. That was quite annoying, there was no fire thankfully but while leaving the hotel and waiting at the muster point, there was no notable guidance from staff. If it was a real fire, that's less than ideal.
The most annoying thing was that I paid for my reservation on booking.com. However, the hotel did not register my payment and charged me again for my stay. I got no help from the staff at the front desk while trying to explain my situation, and it took a long while after contacting support to get my money back. I had to send my receipt of payment multiple times. Honestly the hotel offers good value for money but the lack of help from the front desk and lack of transparency about how they're charging me makes it hard to recommend.
Location was good and room ok
Breakfast was horrible with a monsterous price tag
Hotel was very clean and modern. Amazing location about a 10 minute walk from fisherman’s wharf. 10 minute walk to Gherideli square also! Breakfast spots just feet away as well… Upgraded to a balcony room, which was well worth it. Also next to Walgreens for some quick shopping. It’s seriously all about location and honestly very clean with not a lot of homeless around. There’s also a Thailand massage spot that is right outside of the main door which I highly recommend you book. Didn’t try the food here but again housekeeping and room was up to my expectations. I will definitely be back! Also valet parking only just to keep in mind. Which of course I didn’t mind. I’ll be back!
Personal amable, buena ubicación y comida rica.
Nada, todo estuvo bien.
Let me first say that the staff at the San Francisco Marriott Fisherman's Wharf was the BEST EVER. Sarah at the front desk was so delightful and helpful with reservations, suggestions for transportation, great dining recommendations in the area, Jasmine for arranging for EMS to come take our granddaughter to the hospital to be checked out, Joshua who helped calm down our granddaughter from being frightened by the situation, the nice man and lady in the restaurant for helping with guest and providing great service to all the dining guest, and Adriano Luna (GUEST CARE MANAGER) of the Courtyard Marriott Fisherman's Wharf. Your team stands out and represents the Marriott expectations to the fullest.
I have stayed at this SF Courtyard Marriott Fisherman's Wharf before and that is the reason I selected it for this trip. SERVICE here is awesome over any other great things this hotel offers. The location of the hotel is prime, the beds are very comfortable, the cable car is just one block away, Ghirardelli® Premium Chocolate factory is steps away, there are many restaurants close by, and Pier 39 and all the other attractions are walkable from the hotel. You do not need a car unless you are going to do other attractions around the Bay area.
As a Platinum Elite member, I highly recommend this hotel over all others on the Wharf. 10-Star in my opinion. There is another Marriott property close by, but this Marriott property is way above the other hotel.
no me gusto la habitación, el baño, la atención al momento de hacer el check in, el apoyo con las maletas al momento de llegar al hotel.
Great location ! Very friendly staff . Excellent customer service from Rachel and Grace A. Always eager to answer questions. Was a huge help with bus service . Loved that we could walk to so many landmarks close by . Walked right out door to catch bus service .Would definitely stay at this location again.
