A very nice hotel in a good location.
Pros:

Very good breakfast and a great location; very near the Gänsemarkt U-bahn station and just a few minute walk from Jungfernstieg U-Bahn. Many sites, including the Alters, are within easy walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff is very accommodating.

Cons:

The temps were a bit high during our visit, and our room stayed consistently warm, especially overnight. I asked the staff about the AC, and they informed me the system was in "ventilation" mode because the temps were not high enough to turn on the air conditioning.

Super Hotel für einen kurzen Hamburg-Trip!
Pros:

Top Lage, mitten in Hamburg und sehr nah zur Binnenalster.
Hervorragendes Frühstücks-Buffet, sehr zu empfehlen!
Personal sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Ein Hotel als erste Adresse für einen kurzen Hamburg-Urlaub/Trip.

Great Location
Pros:

Gorgeous location, clean rooms and amenities. Breakfast is adequate. Staff is very friendly and professional.

Cons:

The air conditioner was poor they provided a fan. World cup matches were not aired on the tv in the room.

Fint hotel-nu uden pool.
Pros:

Det ligger super centralt og vi er kommet der i over 20år

Cons:

Poolen har været under “renovering” virkelig længe (før jul 2025) og det ligner ikke at der sker en pind. Værelserne er jo ikke just billigere af at der ikke er pool som der ellers vises flotte billeder af på booking siderne. Og som er en af grundene il at vi kommer tilbage år efter år. Personalet i baren vender halvt øjne af en fordi man ikke taler tysk-det har vi ikke oplevet før.
