Disappointing
Pros:

We arrived due to an international flight cancellation and hoped to enjoy a peaceful stay around a pool area enjoying a few drinks..
On arrival, the reception staff allocated a room to us on one of the higher floors , that hadn't even been cleaned from the previous guests. We then had to come all the was back to reception with our luggage, where they then allocated us a different room on the 14th floor, and hardly even an apology.
The lift was dirty with mould in the corners.
We then went to the pool area only to find a sign saying no food or drinks allowed.
There was music blasting over the speakers , and contrary to reviews stating the pool was a highlight, it's actually a very claustrophobic space surrounded by 7 floors of apartments ( approx) on all 4 sides.
The food in the shops was very overpriced.
We had just stayed at the Marriot in Orlando prior to coming to LA , and you couldn't find 2 more different Marriotts.
Overall very disappointing.

Very convenient location if you are just doing an airport stop over.

Average Marriott in Close Proximity to LAX
Pros:

Restaurant (JW Steakhouse) was excellent and expensive. Room was clean.

Cons:

View from room Room on third floor was into ac units on roof over 2nd floor. Hotel lobby was crowded. In the morning the line for the shuttle to the airport was long.

Pros:

La navette à l'aéroport superbe. Personnel de la navette TOP ! Petit dejeuner assez complet inclus dans le prix de la chambre.

Cons:

Hotel gigantesque. On est arrivé à 20heures et il n'y avait plus rien à manger dans le salon. Lits trop petites. Deux places à 1.60mt. Prix trop élevé ça ne le vaut absolument pas.

Great full service hotel near the airport
Pros:

We stayed here overnight for a family event and it worked great for us. We took the free shuttle to and from the airport and we were so happy when our room was ready when we arrived early in the morning.
It’s a big hotel in a square so we had to walk a long way to our room, but we eventually figured out some shortcuts.
The M lounge upstairs was really nice and a great place to have breakfast and snacks. Would definitely recommend.
