Clean and helpful staff
At the rates charged, it seems like there could have been free parking. The only xtra fee feels like gouging.
L'emplacement les équipements le confort
Le prix trop cher pour une 1 nuits et le déjeuner n'était pas gratuit vraiment dommage
Clean
This hotel is old and dreary looking. The bar in it was no different. Water pressure was excellent. Bedding was comfortable. But everything down to the wobbly elevators looks and feels worn and dull. For $342 a night, I expected more. Time for this hotel to be completely renovated.
Super confortável
Estava tudo perfeito
Breakfast was good.
The price was high and our door to get into the room wouldn’t open properly so we had to get moved to a different room. No ice on our floor.
We only stayed for a quick overnight, good option for a quick stopover before getting to NY.
The bar downstairs, a bit grungy either way grumpy staff. Lucky we had dinner before we got there.
The closeness to everything we did
I felt it was overpriced.
Location?
Even though I paid for my room in advance, the room was not available to me. They told me they were giving me another room but then continue to charge me the same price that I was paying for my original room the next day because of what they had done. They tried to make it right but not really
Additionally, I don't know who didn't do what they promised. It was either bookings or Marriott. You both suck
This hotel might be acceptable but has seen better days. It's about a 15-20 minute walk from the train station along a busy road—a walk you definitely wouldn't want to do at night. The hotel itself is old, dated, and run-down; the room we were in had an extremely dangerous shower situation with a very slippery tub and no rubber mat. The grab bar was good, but the setup was still hazardous, even for someone young. The bathroom had a pocket door—not a huge problem, but not a thrill, either. Minor point: If you like watching Bravo, this hotel doesn't have it (or Peacock). Despite all this, the hotel staff members were very nice and went out of their way to help people. Still, I'm glad I won't ever have to stay here again.
Location and clean
Staff would not let me pay cash.
When they told me I could prior to check in / out
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this Marriott International property was consistently below expectations and ultimately unacceptable for a business traveler.
Over the course of my stay, there were repeated issues with basic hotel operations. Most notably, I returned from a long day with clients to find that my room had not been serviced at all. At 7:00 PM, I was still waiting for housekeeping, which delayed my ability to relax for over an hour while already dealing with a migraine.
When housekeeping did arrive, there appeared to be a lack of training on even fundamental tasks such as properly making the bed with a duvet cover. This raised serious concerns about overall service standards.
Additionally, room service from the on-site restaurant was delivered in cardboard boxes and a paper bag—far from what one would expect from a full-service hotel operating under the Marriott brand.
There were also other concerning aspects of my stay, including a situation I previously raised regarding guest safety, which further contributed to my dissatisfaction.
While the hotel attempted to address these issues with a 5,000-point gesture, this equates to minimal value and does not reflect the level of inconvenience experienced.
I travel frequently for work, and my colleagues and I will be in the area regularly over the next several months. Based on this experience, we will be seeking alternative accommodations moving forward.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this property at this time.
I can’t forget to delete this photo from my library. I never want to see it again or stay here again.
It was downtown
It advertised a pool and didn't have one
I think all the shared spaces were beautiful. I think the restaurant and bar were way overpriced. There should at least be coffee, especially for Bonvoy members. The staff was incredibly kind, helpful and truly second to none.
The rooms were not as nice as they should be. The beds were very comfortable and everything was clean, but the bathroom ceiling tiles were stained and not properly set in the spots they should be so they were cracks to the ceiling. There were some clearly sloppy paint jobs in the bathroom on the ceiling on the vanity on the walls the shower I’ll be a beautiful and great shower pressure leaks everywhere which is frustrating for someone who’s trying to keep the space tidy. There should be a longer glass door. It’s far too short for the water pressure. Since there’s an open space in the back.
Marriot, the 1980’s called and want their hotel back. Seriously, I have not seen a flagship property that is in more need of quality renovation. End to end, this place needs a complete overhaul. Dated, musty and not at all worth the nightly rate. I’m a long time Marriot customer and I get no satisfaction in writing this, but change is required….
It is adequate.
Very dated and a bit shabby. Expensive for what you get and the charges for breakfast and parking also steep. Hasn’t changed in -25 years except to get more run down.
