The hotel itself is OK
This hotel normally does not provide invoices to guests who booked the rooms through a third party (like booking.com). When I left the hotel it was not possible to get the invoice and during this discussion the person at the front desk got a little bit unfriendly. Finally I went to a meeting with a customer and afterwards I went back to the hotel. Then the manager was also at the front desk and I got the invoice. Service is something different.
I was there with a co-worker, 2 people, 2 rooms, 1 car. The hotel charged $10 parking fee per room and per night without any information in adavance. I saw it later when I got an email receipt for this and on the credit card statement. No further comment

First things first don’t get put in the back tower with a room facing the interstates unless one is able to put up with traffic noise. The room we had was odd. A spacious living/bed area and a small bath and shower where it was hard to maneuver. A lot of wasted space and the owners should be asking for their $$$ back from the designer. Garbage cans had not been emptied and halls needed vaccumed. Way too much wasted space in this place. Security can be improved.

The location was rough. Parking was terrible. And being in a room in the far tower of the hotel and having to constantly walk through a conference was awkward.

Needs a little repair work. First room we were in sliding bathroom door came off the roller. Next room, handle on bathroom door loose and toilet paper holder loose.
Cleanliness.
Front desk staff were rude. They were obviously not prepared for when Morgan Wallen was in town. I had got approved for early check in in January for a 3pm check in but then they would not honor it because they were not prepared. Then everyone that wanted to go to the concert is in line to check in at 4. I waited over an hour in line to check in. They should have focused on getting people in line checked in instead of answering the phones. Many people were late for the concert. And some people still did not have a room available after waiting in line for so long.
We would like to thank the amazing staff at the hotel Angela, Adriana, Manni and Ben stand out. They were so kind and nothing was too much trouble.
The rooms were clean and comfortable
We used the pool and gym and both facilities were perfect for us
There was lots of car parking and we enjoyed our breakfast
We had nice cocktails in the bar
We travelled for a family wedding and when we come back we'd definitely stay again

I thought the Marriott was wonderful. The room was clean, the entire building was clean and nice-very up scale. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was very comfortable!
What I didn't like, was area in which the Marriott is located once you get on the main street, there are drug addicts standing on the corners begging for money. And I didn't like the fact that I was charged for parking both nights-that is why I rated you an 8 otherwise it would have been a 10. It didn't say you charge for parking as I was reading through everything before I made my selection otherwise I would have chosen another hotel. But other than those things everything was great!

If I had to give a dislike the only thing I could say is that the ac unit is load. Not to big a deal to me with how well it works! But that’s about it.
We stayed at the Marriott Indianapolis East for two nights while attending the Indy 500 and had a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and check-in at the front desk was quick and easy. The hotel was conveniently located, making it an easy drive to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and there were plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from.
The only downside was our room view, which looked directly at a brick wall. As a Marriott Bonvoy Elite member, I had hoped for a room with a better view. That said, this was a minor issue and did not affect our overall stay as we did not spend a whole lot of time in the room.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the hotel and would gladly stay here again when visiting Indianapolis.
