Excellent choice for conference with wonderful accommodations in the heart of the French Quarter
Pros:

Likes: perfect location for visiting the city!
Convenient and within easy walking distance to riverfront, shoppes, dining, things to do.
Stayed 3 nights for IT conference, easy to attend presentations in hotel’s clean modern facilities.
Beautiful lobby with lots of activity!
Easy check in.
Comfortable beds, clean room, modern spacious room, had everything we needed.
Beautiful view of the city and river (Sail 250 boats were a great sight)!
5fifty5 restaurant for Club members was a welcome retreat for midday snacks and breakfast buffet was delicious! Omelettes were amazing, loved the cherry pastries, and servers were prompt and efficient.
Gentlemen at concierge desk was extremely helpful and informative in booking activities and making recommendations.

Cons:

Dislikes: price point was bit on high side

This a great place to stay in the French Quarter, you cant beat the location for the price.
Pros:

Awesome location and great facility. The staff was top notch as you would expect from the Marriott.

Cons:

Small knock on the bed for being uncomfortable but that is subjective.

Terrible experience
Pros:

Horrible. I was there for four nights for a conference. The place is dingy looking and dark. Nowhere except the lobby bar/restaurant to sit and talk with colleagues. It badly needs an update and apparently is getting one - but current customers are paying the price. Loud loud banging and drilling from 9am til after 5 meant you could never work or rest in the room during the day.
