Cafe was great, ate breakfast there. Bar was good.
Not enough handicap spaces.
The front desk woman (sorry I didn't catch her name) was very welcoming when we first arrived and was very efficient.
We loved the delicious warm cookie we received when we checked in.
We had issues with a very noisy AC and the TV kept cutting out, but after a phone call to the front desk, the maintenance man was knocking at our door in less than 10 minutes and he took care of both issues. He was very pleasant.
It was great to have two eating establishments in the hotel to choose from for an evening meal so that we didn't need to leave the hotel.
Can't think of a single issue we had.
That there was a refrigerator in the room like I wanted...
The beds were 2 double beds instead of 2 queen size beds that I reserved
Clean. Comfortable sleeping.
The GPS directions lead us to a vacant building above the hill from the hotel making it difficult to locate. GPS coordinates came from Booking.com and the address was verified by phone. Time to get that corrected on MAPS.
Everything was great
That the pool wasn't open longer
The property was beautiful. The pillows were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a hotel. I can’t say enough about the Front Desk Staff. They were friendly, kind, helpful, professional and truly accommodating.
Nothing to dislike
Comfortable bed. The cookies are always amazing. I liked having a refrigerator but there was no microwave in the room. I did like that there wasn’t a need to use your room card to get to the rooms and so when I ordered food, they were able to bring it directly to my room instead of me having to wait downstairs.
I wish they would have make up remover towelettes or black makeup washcloths. They didn’t have a 24 hour market in the lobby, which would’ve definitely helped for snacks and drinks and food, but they had three dollar bottles of water in the room which I thought was a bit much considering the hotel already charges enough as it is. There was some kind of sports kids team in the hotel, and they were up loud, screaming, and running through the hallways, pounding on doors, laughing and talking in the wee hours of the morning, which made it difficult to get any sleep. The security deposit was more than posted which was frustrating. That information should be very clearly marked on every site, including third-party sites. What if I would not have had enough money to cover the additional cost? I wish they would have a airport shuttle. I find it odd that they have a shuttle to the Steelers games, but not to and from the airport.
The room is definitely dated with old furniture, and there were areas of the walls where the paint was chipping. Some of the staff there didn’t speak English, which also makes things awkward and difficult when you have requests. I wish they would’ve had Amazon Prime as one of their streaming choices. That’s a major streaming site so to not have Amazon was crazy. The water pressure in the shower was definitely low and at times the water didn’t get very hot.
They request everyone contact them to let them know if they will not be checking in at the regular check-in time. I left them three different messages through the Booking.com messenger format, which was supposed to directly connect to the hotel staff. This was after they had sent me a welcome message so I felt this was a platform that they would regularly check. When I called the hotel to do as they requested, which was to let them know my plane was going to be landing late, so I will be checking in late.
Great value for the location and amenities offered. I like that I can login to several apps on the TV and the store in the lobby has many snack options to choose from.
Bathrooms are small and there is a vent inside the shower area that can lead to little bugs coming out. The light in the shower area was flickering. This was reported to the front desk after I checked out and said they would look into it.
