Loved the pools and recreational areas that are on the property. All the extra daily activities for guests were fun
They need to improve on the Emergency Plan for Storm notification and evacuations.
They need to have more security for non-guests who come in from the docks and take over the pool areas.
They need more Food Service available for large families. They could set up Breakfast Buffets in the Conference Center Area for Weekends and Holidays.
Fireworks for 4th would have been a nice touch.
It was very relaxing, the local was nice
The location of my room at the resort.
I liked that it was lake view with a lot of amenities. There were lots of things that the kids could do. Food options were good.
There was a power outage that began at 3:00 PM and didn't resolve until 8:45 AM the following morning. There was no power or running water. There was no communication from staff. Everything was closed don and we were kicked out of numerous areas.
Staff before the power outage was amazingly kind and helpful
Facility is NOT up to code for an emergency. Hotel hallways were pitch black with no emergency lighting or exit signs lit.
No back up generator or hot water and pools were closed. Bad first time experience for entire family. Wished management handled the situation more professionally. My husband is handicapped and really struggled through this entire emergency event.
Power outage in the entire resort on the 4th of July. Nothing was open. All dining was closed. No running water. Room was extremely hot. Power issue was never resolved, we had no choice but to pack in the dark and check out. We had to check in to another hotel an hour away ( the closest available in the area).
Ruined our road trip from Chicago for the 4th of July weekend. We didn’t get to do anything because they had no power or running water. We didn’t get to watch fireworks at night because we were to busy packing in the dark to check in to another hotel.
It was beautiful, the Landshark was amazing!! The view of the lake was pretty sweet!
Trying to park when you're staying there was difficult, people who don't stay come to enjoy all the facilities. When you pay alot of money to stay there, there should be assigned or designated parking. You should have to park a half mile away and walk all the way to your room.
Boat
The experience was not good the whole holiday with no light are anything .There wasn't no staff are paperwork given out during outage explaining what was going on unless you walked dark hallways to get information. Toilets wasn't working are anything. Really bad experience for a place so expensive to take your family with no emergency plan put in place like generator etc. We left early before our check out and traveled home couldn't enjoy the holiday as planned.
It’s in the Ozarks
Short staffed, dirty floors, no sheets or blankets for pull out couch. Waited hours for delivery.
Loved the beds, food, location! Very good vibes
Our ice machine was broken on our floor. Our air conditioner wasn't working very well. It was blowing cool, but it never got down to the temp we set it for. When I pay for a room and facilities, I would expect everything to be in working order. I didn't let it ruin my time, though. We went to the next floor and used their ice machine.
Good, but still needs painting on railings, pillars, etc
Parking
Breakfast was great but pricy.
The bathroom needed an update with the tub that had a Crack in it.
The pools were great, food was great. Room was great.
The floors in the hall were uneven. Lots of stairs.
Tiki Hut, pool, location of room, staff
Hills, parking would be a problem.
Evrything . The service in front desk, in the resorants, the cleanest of room 536 ( not 6037..)
The cotage we hade at the begining 6037.
It is so different fron the cotage we recived in the second day cotage number 536.
if you plan on using any of the amenities you are paying for don't plan on it coffee shop dosnt open till seven and alll the restaurants close at 7 pm better of staying at the motel 6 at least they don't have a restaurant that thay advertise for a ten mile radius and treat hotel guests like a nuisance i really thought this was a restaurant on the property i guess the hotel guests that are paying for it should just screw off
A/C did not work in room on first night. First off the thermostats now have sensors on them so they only kick on when someone is in the room . Second of all the ac was not even blowing cool air. Room was 76 and muggy in room with ac going. After complaining 3 times we were moved to another room. The ac worked in that room, but again thermostat had sensor on it so ac would only kick on when someone was in the room. This is unacceptable. Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired immediately. We will not be back.
Amenities and our stay!!! The room we rented for game night and for the price was huge!! We could have invited half the resort lol. Kathy and her boat staff were amazing!!!!!
The quality of the food for the prices and selection. I suggest guest go off the resort.
