Beautiful, modern and very clean hotel with an amazing location by Lake Garda. The pool area is fantastic, the restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast was very good. The staff were polite. However, before booking, I recommend confirming that the air conditioning in your room is working, especially during the summer.
We extended our stay for one more night and were moved to a different room. Unfortunately, our third and last night, just before our long drive back to Denmark, was spoiled because the air conditioning in the new room did not work. We reported the problem several times, but neither the staff nor the reception managed to solve it. We also could not open the balcony because there was a wasps' nest outside. The nest was removed very late in the evening, and only because there was a thunderstorm and the temperature dropped were we finally able to open the balcony and get some fresh air. If the weather had stayed as hot as during the day, sleeping in the room would have been extremely difficult. For a hotel in this price range, we expected a working air conditioner. This was very disappointing.
Breakfast was superb! Amazing!
Absolutely perfect experience! The warm Italian hospitality extended to our four-legged companion as well, and the staff was genuinely kind and attentive, making sure that both we felt comfortable and welcomed. The room was perfect, and the breakfast was by far the best of the seven hotels we stayed at during our trip. The outdoor area with the pool and jacuzzi is fantastic, offering beautiful views of Lake Garda. Although the high season had already started, we never found it too loud or crowded.
The only thing I could mention is the artificial grass around the pool. Replacing it with a real lawn would be another step up and would make the outdoor area even more beautiful.
Stayed here for two weeks staying in a large lake view room on 1st floor with wrap balcony. Room was modern, clean, beautifully appointed with great view.
Hotel staff are warm, friendly and professional, especially the breakfast staff.
Outdoor infinity pool is spotless and great for cooling off in high temperatures. Also has a hot tub, but used mainly as a kiddies play area! It’s noticeable that there is no music whatsoever, so atmosphere can feel a little sterile.
Enough sunbeds that don’t require early prebooking .
Location of hotel is a challenge. A good 35 min lakeside walk into Peschiera harbour. As mentioned by others, a hotel shuttle bus really is needed to avoid €20 one way taxi ride for 5 mins.
Breakfasts are basic, sometimes running out of certain options. Staying on a Room & Breakfast basis, we ate in a number of fabulous restaurants both nearby (Combattente & Onda Blu) and several around the canal.
We only had one evening meal in Aura (the hotel’s restaurant). This was really poor and our only disappointing experience.
Top tips : if you have a late flight, there are no shower facilities. This is the first thing we, in 25 years holidaying at a 4/5 star hotel hasn’t offered this for late departing customers.
We ate several times across the road in Pepe & Zucchero, the campsite cafe and bar across the street from the hotel. It has the best views, chilled music, lovely staff and super atmosphere.
Overall, a fabulous stay, but with a few minor changes, this would have been a 5star experience
Room is clean and staff is great and very supportive during our stay. Quite and nice lake view, if you rent a car, this will be good place to stay.
Location is problem, need to walk to the public station and will have problem to get back to the hotel if you visit other attractions. The public transportation is not good in any way.
