Rochester Airport Marriott

Excellent

We stayed on the 6th floor. The room was very nice. It was very neat and orderly. I appreciated that they offered soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. They also supply two glasses in the bathroom as well as bedside. I liked that there was a small fridge. We used that every day we were there. The closet is a good size as well as the end tables and dressers. There was a desk to use if needed. Also the temperature in the room was nice and cool, just the way we like it. The rest of the hotel was very nice. The lounge on the 7th floor as well as the few on the 1st floor. I am really appreciative of the staff letting our baseball team use one of the lounge areas for a pizza party. I would definitely stay here again. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub/spa as well.

Convenient location if you're staying before or after a flight. Easy drive to ROC or to other city areas accessible by highway. Other than that, mid grade stay. Room was clean and somewhat updated - you can tell this is an old building with very tiny bathrooms, weird tarp-like shower curtains, and very low shower heads (sorry if you're tall - you might need to crouch) . M club on the 7th floor has very restrictive hours for actual food, and the snacks offered 24/7 were subpar. Lounge was dirty, and snacks were empty most of the stay. Pool area seemed nice, hot tub was hot when I put my hand in. A little difficult to find off the main lobby, though. Even harder to find is the fitness center, located in the basement (LL on the elevator), near housekeeping. Looked like a well equipped gym with lots of different machines and equipment for a hotel gym, but it was about 900* down there, so I did not do a single exercise. Free parking with lots of space, and very close to food with lots of door dash options. Probably would look elsewhere unless you're an airline pilot forced to stay here.

We stayed five nights and couldn’t wait to leave. From the moment we checked in, I could tell there were going to be issues. The property is not even close to meeting Marriott standards. The only reason why we did not check out and go somewhere else is because all of the other hotels in the area were booked this particular week. The room did not feel clean. The a/c in the gym was broken. The tv didn’t work. I could go on and on but it’s just exhausting to relive. We did speak extensively with the general manager and he was very apologetic and professional. But this stay was in excess of 1k and when you spend that much money you expect to enjoy the hotel. We will never stay here again. It’s not even that close to the airport so I’m unsure why they tout it as the airport Marriott. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.

The beds were extremely comfy, but the services fell a bit short. The hotel had a QR code for restaurants / room service, but the menu was out of date and no longer applicable. The Bonvoy App listed a room service menu, but when we attempted to order, we were sent to the restaurant who informed us they were not doing room service. Finally, they no longer clean the rooms daily and the front desk failed to inform us when we checked in. We requested cleaning mid-day when heading out, but they didn’t come by about 4pm.

We told them to repair the bath tub water issue and no one resolved it and useless and waste of money and I won't recommend to anyone

The front desk lady at check in was very friendly. The hotel room needs a proper clean and remodel. The bathroom door is warping due to moisture from years of showering. The bathroom mirror wood finish is fading and the wall mounted lights are extremely dusty. The worst part was the dried blood stain and makeup stains on my duvet. I called the front desk for a replacement but their said “we are so busy right now, there are no replacement duvets” I ended up with a light brown couch throw instead… Overall would recommend the doubletree hotel one this one.
