Pros:

My kiddos loved that there was a nice, clean pool to swim in. The room was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable. We were close to just about everything. So the location was nice.

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like was the 1st floor/hotel lobby smelled a little weird to me.

Cons:

I do not recommend it. We stayed for four days, and the room was never cleaned. The thermostat didn't work, so the room was always freezing cold. The water system was faulty, too; only extremely hot water came out—never cold water. The pool was out of commission most of the time because it took too long to balance the chemicals after the rain stopped. Breakfast was always the same and very limited. If I could wish for anything, it would be a refund; this hotel is a rip-off.

Fun, relaxing, comfortable, clean, and convenient!

So clean, staff wonderful, breakfast was perfect, so many great amenities . We will be back everytime we come to the area. Thank you for our amazing stay!

Good place to stay while in Wilmington: Clean, amenities nearby, quiet, good parking.
Pros:

This Tru Hilton is clean, well located near amenities. The staff are available for any questions, quiet is maintained. After a long drive, free parking is available, always a plus.

Cons:

Breakfast could be stepped up: coffee is watered down, eggs are the poured sort, or spongy ready-mades with questionable ingredients; straight-up scrambled eggs would be preferable, need not be fancy, add small containers of yogurt as seen at some Tru Hiltons.

I would like a full refund on my stay. I have picture’s and videos to back up what I have said. This is The Tru hotel lo
Pros:

This was a bad experience. The Hilton systems were down all over for 5 hours and no one could check in on time. We were not refunded anything.

Cons:

The bed linen had disgusting stains on both queen beds. We could not get new linen until the next morning. I told the front desk and showed the pictures and the receptionist said that she will tell her housekeeper to change ALL of the linen. Well we left the room for a few hours and the housekeeper did not change the linen or make the beds. The shower had hair in it when we got there and the border of the wall was lying in the floor. The air conditioning went out on Saturday and the room temperature stayed at 78 degrees which was so uncomfortable. Also the water pressure in the shower was very poor. This was the worse experience with a Hilton hotel that I have ever dealt with. I would like a full refund on this horrific stay.
