Location! The pizza and bar were great
I love this Marriott and we stay there a lot . The employees are great and really friendly . Problem is that 2 times I have gone there recently , and we did not have hot water . The last time this happened, we paid for a suite and also paid extra for the consigliere lounge for breakfast. When they moved us, because of cold water only, they moved us to a smaller room and took the breakfast lounge off of us!! It really upset me. Yesterday, when we realized we didn’t have hot water again , it was late in the evening and we were too tired to play the moving game , if the offered, so …. We took freezing cold showers. I ran that shower for 35 mins and the water never got warm. I don’t know what’s happening here . It’s really sad because from going there so much , it feels like home. It’s where everybody knows your name. I don’t know if I will go back again.
The location was convenient
The staff was unprofessional. I never got the room i originally booked or compensation for their errors
Close to events
Toilet paper holder broken when checked into room
Great location, comfortable, clean.
So loud at night
Location to venue
Construction cleanup crews outside window were NOISY at 6 AM!
Pleasant service experience. Shout out to Tiffany! I was helped by Tiffany the PBX Operator. She was patient and efficient as she helped me set up my stay with my parents and kids. Thank you! Looking forward to staying here again.
NOTHING
Do Not Stay Here... Was woken up at 7am to loud banging beating coming from the room above us that carried on for almost 2 hours. Called front desk to complain because I have been up because of this loud evasive and repetitive loud banging slamming. The front desk even could hear it over phone and said was sending security. 6mins later knock at door explaing there doing construction on the floor above me but had the nerve to put us in a room knowing this would happen at 7am on Saturday moring but offered no reimbursement nor ask them to start at a reasonable time or in another area where guests are not sleeping. I've contacted Marriott also with a complaint.
Easy stay right by the ball park. Hung out at the bar afterwards. Super easy.
We were in a renovated room. Be aware the bathrooms nor hvac systems were truly renovated. The concierge lounge breakfast was sufficient and well stocked.
Imagine you’re staying at a hotel for four nights on a business trip. You check in, get your room key, take your stuff up to the room and unpack. Over the next few days you occasionally buy things at the convenience store at the hotel and charge them to your room. No questions, no problems.
As you’re getting ready to check out the last morning, there’s a loud pounding on the door. You ask who it is and they tell you it’s hotel security and the room is supposed to be vacant, that there is no record of a reservation for that room. You explain there must have been a mistake because you’ve been there four nights and are checking out shortly. They ask for your name and repeat that the room is supposed to be vacant. You assure them you’ve been there for four nights and that you’ll be checking shortly.
They leave but a few moments later the room phone rings and it’s the front desk asking who you are and telling you the room is supposed to be vacant and there’s no record of a reservation. You explain (again) that you checked in four days ago and have been there every night since. They tell you abruptly you need to go to the front desk. You assure them you will as soon as you finish getting your things ready to go.
A few minute later, there’s another loud pounding at the door. This time you open it and there is a police officer and security guard again asking who you are. You tell them (again!), and you reiterate you will be checking out in just a few moments and will go to the front desk. They apologize and leave.
You go to the front desk to check out and they tell you there’s no reservation and the room is supposed to be vacant. They ask who are you and if you have a confirmation number. You show them your confirmation number and tell them (again!) you checked in at that same front desk four days ago and have been there four nights. They tell you (again) they have no record of you or the reservation number in their system. You ask why you were able to check in, given a key card that worked for four nights, and allowed to make purchases on the room. They have no answer.
After about 10 minutes, they tell you there was a glitch in the system and there’s no record of your reservation. Then they apologize.
Afterwards, you decide to call the Marriott to share your experience. You make multiple calls that take a lot of on-hold time and have multiple conversations explaining what happened. They give you 5,000 Bonvoy points, worth about $43.
What do you think? Would you stay in this hotel or with Marriott again?
Location to venue was perfect
Outdated, needs remodeled
I made my hotel reservation 4 months ago, in December 2025. I would be traveling for a conference and wanted to stay close to the convention center. I was quoted a rate of $280 per night for Sunday-Wednesday of my trip, and on my last night Thursday, I was quoted $2500 for one night. When I called the hotel, they could not give me an explanation for the astronomical price for the last night. I then tried to shorten my stay and check out on Thursday morning instead of Friday and had to jump through so many hoops. I tried changing the reservation online but because the hotel was sold out due to the conference, I couldn't make changes online. I called the front desk, they wouldn't even let me explain what I was trying to do, transferred me to the robo-operator who couldn't help me. I called the front desk 5 different times, trying to be able to explain my situation to a real person. On the 5th call, they transferred me to a real person who tried to help me but couldn't and told me the adjustment had to be handled by the front desk staff and that the change would take 3-5 business days to adjust. They finally made the adjustment a couple of weeks ago. Today, 5 days before I was scheduled to check in to the hotel for the conference, I received an email that they cancelled my room reservation because the room that I was assigned to is unavailable due to construction. So I am left scrambling trying to find another room 5 days before the national conference I am attending is scheduled to start and I am traveling from Montana to Baltimore to attend. I just wanted to write to give people fair warning to AVOID this hotel if you can. The customer service is the WORST that I have ever had to deal with, very unprofessional.
My stay included a few maintenance hurdles: the AC in my first room failed, and the heat was non-functional in the second. Although I was offered a third move, I declined as I did not wish to pack my belongings again.
Despite these setbacks, the customer service was exceptional. Mrs.
Evania Chapman was incredibly helpful in verifying my stay and assisting with the necessary email forms for my company to complete prior to my arrival. Mr. Darrell provided a very pleasant greeting for my group and me, and both Mr. Robert and Mrs. Kim were equally kind and professional.
The team proactively compensated me with award points and amenities for the inconvenience. Their "guest-first" attitude and dedication to service make me more than willing to give this hotel another chance.
