It was ok. Very busy area, albeit beautiful. Our room was clean for the most part but the bathroom wasn’t the best

Musty Smell
Pros:

The location was perfect to attend a concert at PPG. The restaurant was also very good!

Cons:

The room smelled musty, especially the bathroom. The shower curtain needed washed.

The room served the purpose for our trip to go to the Alex Warren concert and stay close to PPG.
Pros:

Beds were comfortable.
Location was fantastic for going to a concert at PPG.

Cons:

The bathroom was awkwardly small. The sink should have been outside the bathroom where they had a counter for hair/make up.
Wasted space where desk was.

Overall The Stay & Staff were Awesome!
Pros:

If I can do a shout out to all the staff members who assisted in making our stay a grand one, I would. It started upon checking in. I arrived with my mom tired but grateful that we finally made it to our destination. The purpose for the visit was twofold: destination wedding and for medical reasons. I booked for six (6) nights. So upon attempting to check in, my debit card refused to go through (no fault of theirs but the bank itself). I went through all the emotions anybody can think of at this point. Thank God for Devin (auditor) and the manager for sorting us out other wise we would be out on the streets. They agreed upon another payment option until I could sort out the bank issues.
Throughout the stay, whatever we requested or asked for, we were assisted. Thanks to the staff member who went out their way to retrieve the bath mat for my mom to prevent slipping as well as the needed essentials for the room. The front desk gentlemen even assisted us with our packages/luggage/bags. The premises itself is quite accommodating, huge (> 17 floors) and was quite clean. (They recently renovated the complex.) The room was quite comfortable with temperature controls. The beds were also comfortable. Water pressure and having access to hot water: excellent.
The staff at the Bigelow Restaurant & Grill were quite pleasant. The breakfast food was awesome.
We were immensely helped throughout; all the way to when we had to checkout.
We were saddened to leave but we really enjoyed our stay. Once again, my mom & I thanks the entire staff/DoubleTree family for making our stay enjoyable and assisting us throughout. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I just so happen to return, I would book this hotel again.
