Rooms were nice. Pool was good.
Wifi didn't work the whole 2 days I stayed. Never worked on the 4th floor. Only in the pool room...
Friendly and accommodating. Great location. Loved the open mike night. So much fun.
The bar
The rest of the hotel is very run down and in poor condition. There was also a lot of police activity at the warming center and sadly, homeless people wandering in the parking lot.

nice large place downtown
rooms are great, overall its a bit dated
We booked a late arrival and got there about 10pm. We were exhausted. Check-in was easy. However, finding our room was impossible. We went back to the desk and Stephanie how to get there and she offered to escorted us to our room. We had all of our belongings on a hotel cart. Although we were on the 2nd floor the elevator dropped us off then we had to go through a conference room door up 6 stairs across a ramp, down 6 stairs, along a hall outside poolside rooms, up 6 more stairs to a bank of 4 rooms behind a wall. I struggle with stairs and this was crazy. We finally got to our room and walk in to stained carpet that should have been replaced 10 years ago. I never took off my shoes. The bathroom had clean towels but the walls had items removed and the holes were barely patched. The outlet was so beige it was almost tan it was so old. The curtains and Roman shade blocked the light in the main room but needed replaced as well. The air conditioner made so much noise I slept with ear plugs. The staff was the best thing about this hotel. The pool area had vomit by the hot tub for the two days we were there. The sauna was nice. The hot tub could use some work though. The ladder to get in was flimsy and unsafe. I slipped and banged my shin. The pool area is this hotel is their biggest asset. They should create a live wall and add some greenery, and update the hot tub. I can’t believe we paid almost $900 for 2 rooms for 2 nights and the rooms were so crummy. We had nonrefundable rooms so we toughed it out. I will never stay at this property again.
I stayed in the back unit {163}and it was not taken care of. The hotel door was jammed and had to be slammed shut. I noticed that most of the guests had the same problem as our room had. The floors were discusting I travel a lot and have never seen a floor as bad as this. The food was ok but you couldn't tell what you were getting because they had some cutesy name which really had no correlation with what was on your plate.
Great location near Downtown Marquette. Good Bar. Clean, but showing its age. Biggest drawback is the internet. We could never get connected in our room. Probably won't go back for that reason.
Room was not clean, carpet was damp the whole weekend
lack of Cleanliness
The hotel is old, elevator was sketchy. There is a homeless shelter across the street where groups of homeless people gather outside during summer. Not a big deal but felt a little uneasy as we wanted to walk down the street at night but decided to drive. Also, the people next to our room were very loud at night which I don’t know why the hotel assigned our rooms next to each other when there was room to spread us out.
Great location in the middle of town. Slabz restaurant is a nice perk!
Could've used a vending machine for late-night snacks. The restaurant was closed as well as near-by gas stations. I didn't want to leave the hotel late at night.
Easy to find, easy to access the other attractions we wanted to see.
Darn squeaky bathroom door. 😐
Easy and good
