Ein Hotel für Strassenbahnfans ;-)
Pros:

Die Lage ist o.k., was das Erreichen der Altstadt angeht. Das Zimmer und das Bad war sehr sauber. Das Frühstück war auch o.k. Auffallend nett, freundlich und hilfsbereit war die Dame am Empfang beim Ein- und Ausschecken. Man hat gemerkt, dass sie viele Jahre Erfahrung hat. Das war sehr angenehm.

Cons:

Erstens: Nochmal die Lage: Direkt vor dem Hotel und genau vor unserem Zimmer verläuft in einer Kurve die Strassenbahn, die recht oft am Hotel vorbeifährt. Also hat man alle paar (einstelliger Wert!!) Minuten Räderquietschen und Gebimmel bis weit in die Nacht (ca. 1 Uhr) und ab dem frühen Morgen (5 Uhr). Dazu kommt eine recht alte Klimaanlage unter dem Fenster innen, die recht laut ihre Arbeit tut. Auschalten war bei den Temperaturen (30 Grad und mehr) keine Option. In Summe war an eine ruhige Nacht nicht zu denken.
Zweitens: Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber, allerdings war der Flur wieder genau so fleckig wie in Leuven. Scheinbar ist die Penta Kette an einem sauberen Flur nicht interessiert. Uns stört so etwas jedenfalls.

Das freundliche Personal während des gesamten Aufenthaltes. Außnahme von der Regel: die Dame beim Frühstück.

Cons:

Sehr limitierte Auswahl an Fernsehkanälen. Keine Möglichkeit, Streaming auf dem TV zu nutzen.
Schimmeliger Duschkopf, Schimmel in den Badezimmerfugen.
