Great nighttime view of city (even from the 3rd floor), comfy bed, huge bathtub, and relaxing atmosphere.
Pros:

Overall, great!

Bed was super comfy however, one of the sheets had a couple minor stains.

Cons:

Better lighting in bathroom over toilet.

A few minor cosmetic damages. Cabinet door below counter with ice bucket/coffee was missing knob/handle.

A handful of the channels on the TV didn’t work/had lost connection.

It was an excellent hotel visit. All the standard amenities with a very cute animal flare. Employees were very nice.

Good location and friendly staff!
Pros:

Spacious room, comfy bed, good location, staff were all lovely. Always appreciate a magnifying mirror in the bathroom for makeup. Loved having Illy coffee in the lobby shop.

Cons:

The decor is dated and there is limited light in the rooms and public spaces. The lighting in the bar is terrible and detracts from ambience.

The fact that everything in the area closed down at 9PM, which is okay for a family with young kids but for adults looking for some kind of night life it's not a good fit

Pros:

Check in was smooth and our room was extra large with a garden view.

Cons:

Rooms are very dated, paint peeling, dirty carpets etc. Understaffed in the bar kitchen and dining rooms (apparently they did not think that anyone staying for the All Black South African game would return to the hotel after the game to eat and drink) 2 hour wait for food, plus a bar man that tried really hard but had no idea about serving people in order. So drinks were taking at least 20-40 minutes for some. Our room was not made up one of the 3 days we stayed. The Concierge just watched us struggle with our luggage whilst lifting the bags into the car. So for the huge cost of our stay it was underwhelming. The hotel itself could be amazing if updated and staffed correctly.

Very nice hotel in a great location
Pros:

Good location, very clean, friendly staff

Cons:

The coffee shop needs more staff, the pastries were not good and they had no knives. The restaurant in the hotel needs more staff, we waited ages for our food and then had to gulp it down to get to the station on time. Some guests walked out the restaurant without ordering as the wait was so long!
