Central location with (paid) parking on site, easy to find. Great for Cardiff centre. Hotel was efficient, comfortable and the concierge was particularly helpful. Would happily stay again, but .....
We had fre breakfast through Booking.com which is served not in the main hotel dining area (now a Brown's franchise, but in a back room euphamistically called the Executive Suite. It's a back room. The breakfast spread was so poor we left without eating and went into Cardiff for decent grub and proper coffee. Please don't advertise free breakfast if you can't provide palatable fayre.
We had to cancel after reaching to the property
Unprofessional behaviour of being least bother to inform that ACs aren’t working and not providing alternative solutions, kept us stranded for few hrs
Nice clean room, asked for a lower floor and got one, nice bar and staff.

We really like the downstairs area, the entrance, front desk, bar and restaurant and the staff were all lovely.
We found the room quite dated. The door stop on the back of the door had come off so it was laying on the floor. The bath wouldn’t drain, and the nozzle in the bath to open up the plug wasn’t working so I had to stand in my shower water as it was filling up the bath water, not the end of the world but I’d expect more from a Marriott. The mattress was also rock solid.
Facilities, location, staff and the executive lounge and 1 bedroom suite. Super comfy.
The breakfast buffet could have had a few more hot options and vegetatian sausages as are included in the main hotel breakfast but the privacy of the executive lounge and having breakfast in a calm setting was really nice.
The loud music until 4am was annoying but this is out of the hotels control so not your fault at all.

Very comfy bed.
Bathroom was very dated and worn - the tap on the sink is loose for example.
It’s was centric
The staff, some have no common sense. I requested a room with city view and AC, the AC was not working, but they admitted they already knew but still put in a room with no AC, then made me wait around almost to 2 pm to change me to a shitty mezzanine room (o should be owed some money, right???)
I asked for a 6 am wake up call and get the call at 6:12, thanks for that, missed my ride. Just have been the same lack of common sense employee that advised incorrectly about the food service .
I asked the day before my arrival about last food orders they said 9:45 but failed to tell me there’s room service until 10:45.
The breakfast, man the breakfast is horrible for what they charge.
There’s some nice staff. The bar staff was nice.
Management took a half a day to fix my room issue.
Hotel rooms are comfortable as marriots always are
Air conditioning was broke and no notice was given before I arrived. I had a new born baby with me so having an uncontrollable temperature room was horrible. We were not given any fans to account for this. I had to ask the women at the front desk for one who then told me there wasn't any available but out of kindness gave me the only one being used behind the reception which i do praise her for.
I have contacted the hotel for a refund but i am receiving no return email or phone call.

The executive Lounge and breakfast is outstanding and delicious may I add. The gentleman who served us breakfast was so very pleasant and helpful, such wonderful staff. Thank you once again for the delightful experience. I shall be returning again very soon indeed.
