Perfect for visiting Bristol. We especially loved the breakfast: everything there, constant refill and despite the size

Not recommended
Pros:

Arrived early and was able to check in which was great. Staff at breakfast on the 2nd day were pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was good.

Cons:

The room allocated on the 10th floor was ridiculously warm. Over 70 degrees when I arrived. The hotel is relatively old and the air-conditioning unit took up half of wall. No choice but to put air-conditioning on. Noisy. The view wasn't pleasant of road and suprised I could hear traffic all night. Soundproofing poor. Curtains too short.
I complained on check on about the heat and was given a patronising lecture of ' how heat rises'!
No security on lifts. Anyone can access rooms. I was there for half marathon and breakfast started too late on the Sunday to have any.
Restaurant was understaffed. Had to order at bar after a lengthy wait. Food was poor no better than a ready meal. Awful hotel much better places in Bristol.

Nice but not great
Pros:

Clean, good location and good breakfast

Cons:

For executive room for £300 per night I would expect a nicer room with bigger bathroom and more water. The bathroom is tiny and there was only one small water in carton packaging between two of us. Aircon was very noisy, even on silent mode.

Lovely spacious room in the centre of Bristol. Very nice staff.
Pros:

Quiet even though it is in the heart of the city. Lovely spacious room.

Cons:

I couldn’t connect to Netflix with my iPhone. My sons Samsung connected otherwise we wouldn’t be able to use the entertainment.

Pros:

Got a room upgrade which was nice - big room clean and well appointed. Staff were helpful - asked for a late check out and got an extra hour although I'm not sure they noted this as the cleaners were knocking on the door before checkout.

Cons:

Poor selection of TV channels - no streaming services and Wi-Fi was very weak and intermiitent so couldn't even watch a film on my Ipad. An big old noisy air con unit in the corner - worked OK but its a bit old and dated.

Cooked breakfast was terrible - couldn't eat it and ended up with Fruit, muesli, pastries etc whichw ere acceptable,

Pros:

Boa localização, muito central. Quarto confortável e um excelente pequeno almoço com imensa variedade. Bom café no pequeno-almoço e com nespresso no quarto. Funcionários muito simpáticos.

A good place to stay for a business trip or vacation.
Pros:

I stay here regularly when I'm in Bristol. Good hotel, excellent location, professional staff.

Cons:

At a price of 325 pounds for 2 nights (Saturday and Sunday), breakfast is not included, and the same room, the same day-Sunday is sold for 98 pounds with breakfast included! I think this is excessive greed!!
