Staff, location, 10th floor view, price £80 with breakfast using genius discount
Nothing
Great size rooms, clean and modern. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, varied and delicious. The staff were very professional and kind to me which is why I've taken the time to write this and to say thank you for making the stay exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Great central location and next to a park for some green space and fresh air.
The shower was nice
A whistling noise coming from somewhere in bathroom all night. Joining doors to room next door who had tv on all night. People outside of building talking most of night. Slamming of doors. Bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab and pillows weren't much better
Location staff terrace bar restaurant
Quite noisy .traffic and noise from air vents in bathroom .no socket near mirror for wife to dry hair.
Close to the shopping centre, lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets close by too. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Lovely rooftop restaurant in the hotel also! The room was very spacious with a stunning view of the city
Nice, clean and modern place.
No parking on site, have to park at an adjacent NCP which is expensive at £4/hr, the hotel gives a discount but at £17 is still steep.
Listing under "Most popular facilities" shows "Parking". Only to be somewhat taken aback when arriving at the property and told no parking at the property, parking available at the adjacent NCP at £17 paid at the hotel. It is misleading, and is only when you navigate to "Show all 71 facilities" which I checked after the shock that you see the "Public parking is possible at a nearby location.....and costs £17 per day". For someone not familiar with the area it's a con, and you are stuck paying the high cost. The listing needs to be explicitly clear that it is chargeable NCP Parking and not hidden behind some menu.
The lights in the room were not too bright, not ideal if one wants to do some work and/or reading.
The menu is poor and so expensive.
The hotel met our expectation for the first time visiting Bristol: a good veriety of choises for breakfast, location excellent for our needs, the room was comfortable, access to executive lounge gave us possibility for drinks and snack during the stay, complementary coffee in the room make the atmosphere pleasant.
The cleaning work of the room could have been done better. Twice, during the stay, we contacted the reception for few complains about this.
Cleaningness
Nothing
