This was a fabulous hotel for our stay. We enjoyed the amenities and the cleanliness of the room was perfect each day. Front desk service was friendly and welcoming. Shuttle available to places 3 miles away. Great shopping and restaurant choices nearby.
The Royal Sonesta left a lasting impression on my family. Visiting from Australia, we were made to feel really at home. So many positives: 10 minutes walk from one of America’s biggest shopping malls, we couldn’t ask for more convenience. The free shuttle service which took you anywhere within a 3 mile radius was an unexpected bonus.
Perhaps the greatest joy for us was the courteous and helpful staff. We want to particularly single out Alma at the restaurant. She went above & beyond in attending to our needs making breakfast time a special delight.
We highly recommend the Royal Sonesta to anyone visiting Houston.
Oh my gosh the service we experienced was over the top - see Alma in the restaurant- she was absolutely incredible!!! She knows how to manage every little detail to make your visit easy

La ubicación
Que resulta que por política del hotel se debía solicitar previamente que se hiciera la limpieza de la habitación (lo cual jamas me comentaron)…y todavía el segundo día que y había solicitado la limpieza llegue a mi cuarto a las 3 pm y seguía sin hacerlo, lo realizaron después de 3 veces que fui a recepción molesto por dicha situación

I just want to take a moment and remark on how WONDRRFUL the staff is during breakfast! I'm here for an extended stay, and Frank, Alma, Maria and Irene make me feel like FAMILY every morning! It really means a lot when far from home. Food is excellent too! Great all around - 5 stars

Service was above expectations. Staff was all friendly and accommodating. Especially Alma at the restaurant!
Staff was great.
The water literally took 25 mins of running to get hot upon arrival, so my mother had a cold shower. I ran the water until we got hot water for the tub. The carpet was also buckling in the bedroom in several places. The meal selection at the coffee shop was good although things kept running out during our breaks.
