Fresh, clean and welcoming

Cons:

No shower cap !
as shower was only ceiling with no lower spray shower and I didn’t want to wet my hair was difficult.
Pretty noisy outside with students up till early in the morning

Nice place, grumpy, uncaring staff.
Pros:

Nice, clean, comfortable

Cons:

Front desk was unhappy, uninterested, did not care. All the staff need to go on a Hilton training course.

Nice place off term time
Pros:

Great place, once we found it... won't want to stay during term as I can imagine it bring very busy. Breakfast was nice in the cafe across the way .

Pros:

Spacious room

Cons:

Shower didn’t drain very well but we couldn’t advise staff as it was early hours of the morning and only had security staff on.

On arrival we advised the front desk the plug for the bathroom sink was missing.
Was never replaced in the 3 days we were there!?

Superb location but no frills.
Pros:

The location for the University even was fantastic and the staff were very helpful.

Cons:

The TV didn't work, no bath mat, harsh lighting, no USB sockets, no bar restaurant facilities open at the hotel, breakfast served in another building in the university.

Two night stay, clean facilities, great location for us.
Pros:

We were attending an event at The Waterside, perfect location. It was clean, drink reasonably priced. Basic but clean. Staff were friendly. We had parking close by which we did not have to pay for.

Cons:

No fridge in room and if I was staying again I wouldn’t bother with the breakfast.
