overall, our stay was very pleasant

The balcony was filthy. We reported to reception who were extremely helpful. We waited 1.5 hrs for a further room. On approaching the room a member of housekeeping advised the balcony was spotless. It was very dirty. Next day arrived back to room. Housekeeping had been, The bathroom mat was in the floor as lifted and only one paper cup replaced.

Cons:

Very dated room/bathroom, balcony railing is right at eye level impairing view - specifically rented a harbour view for the balcony view! Very bad bathroom lighting, tv didnt work properly the channels were not synched with the menu - if you went to CNN you got the space channel...for every channel! Very over priced stay very disappointing. Plus the staff advised I didn't need to leave my parking voucher in the car - I came back to a $35 parking ticket from the town of Kingston!

L’hôôté a besoin de rénovations. Un petit coup de balayeuse serait apprécié. Les femmes de chambres devraient deux par chambre. Difficile physiquement pour changer la literie

La chambre était confortable & propre.

Cons:

lors de notre arrivée la chambre n'était pas prête (retard sur le passage des équipes de nettoyage). Sur notre réservation nous devions avoir une chambre avec vue sur le lac & nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur le parking (chambre n°100) au rez de chaussée, derrière la réception & les bureaux des ressources humaines.

Het verblijf in deze volledig gemoderniseerde jaren 60 hotel zorgde voor een heerlijk gevoel van nostalgie.

Mooie locatie met een mooi uitzicht op het haven

Cons:

De locatie en uitzicht. Het balkon. Hoewel de hotel ligt midden in de stad was het ‘‘s nachts lekker rustig. Het was mogelijk om met de deuren naar het balkon open te slapen.

We were pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay - great location with friendly and help
Pros:

Loved the waterfront location and your patio bar. All staff from housekeeping to front desk were polite, friendly and helpful - a big plus.

Cons:

Perhaps entertainment on the patio - not loud - just laid back guitar???

Holiday Inn doesn't disappoint! Usually have good experiences.
Pros:

The location was perfect. We were able to see Kingston at our own pace and book outings easily. The breakfast was ok, hot and replenished when needed. A thank you to Cheryl who served us!!

Cons:

We couldn't change our room to lakeview because we booked with a third party so that was a negative for us. You need to look into being able to make a change as their website showed a picture of the lake and didn't identify the view! It would have been nice to have a box of tissues and small writing pad. These are the norms when we've travelled. The balcony as dirty so we didn't sit there much, despite the rain it was was a bonus for us.

The location was great.

The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable

Cons:

The view -
I had the parking lot balcony view. Typically, would not have complained but at least clean the balcony. It was full with dust and cobwebs.
The shower is not modern and for the price, I would except an updated version
