We had a nice stay. The pool and breakfast were amazing. The bed was comfortable but noisy when you moved.

The atmosphere on the patio was very laid back.
Pros:

The view of the water was amazing. Next time I'm bringing my Fishing equipement.

The best thing about this location is the 'Beautiful Waterfront". Breathtaking.

Very out dated rooms. That would be okay if they were clean. A lot of maitenence neglect. Hair ball in the pool "huge" requested maitenence to take it out. Hot Tub water very yellow. Ground floor patio at our room a mess. Hallway to get to the room smelt very moldy. Thankful it was a one night stay. Bathroom outdated and very small. I believe many stay for the waterfront view. Over priced, much neglect and staff at the front desk could be more pleasant. It would be welcoming if they were knowledgable about their position. I have.inquired several times at this location about room availability and size of the rooms. Aporox. 3 times in total and staff did not seem cognative with such inquires. I shared the room it maybe helpful to know. Room size is listed right in the Website. Thankful during many inquiries this time it was a one night stay. We will not be back. Perplexed at how the ratings for this location is good. Probably because of the waterfront, balcony rooms and people getting away with smoking on them is my guess.

Very Disappointed and heart breaking in seeing a Hotel at such a state. Managements Responsibilty and Ownerships responsibilty!! What flows from the top reflects, all Staff they are responsible for and
the condition of the building they expect their guests which pay to stay. Awful!! A brighter note grounds are beautiful and the Waterfront!!

Quality of stay
Pros:

The hotel was hosting a large group of young lacrosse players attending a tournament in the city, and unfortunately the behaviour throughout the property was completely out of control.
Children were running up and down the hallways unrestrained late into the evening and early in the morning. At one point, nets were actually set up in the second-floor hallway and a lacrosse game was taking place indoors. It was unbelievable that this was allowed to continue without intervention from hotel management.
To make matters worse, there was absolutely no hot water in the morning, making it impossible to shower.
Before checking out, we attempted to have breakfast in the restaurant, where food was being served buffet-style. Young kids were reaching into the bacon container with their bare hands, which was completely unsanitary and unacceptable. We immediately decided to leave and went to a local restaurant instead.
What was most disappointing was tr parent lack of any management presence or effort to monitor and correct behaviour throughout the hotel.

Not really anything , however the staff were nice

Not as pictured at all , you think when booking a holiday inn it’s generally pretty good , a safe bet etc , but this was not like any holiday inn I have stayed in before and probably never will again
