Nice hotel, but needs to finish the remodel.
Pros:

I was a solo traveler with a tour group. I was not overly impressed with this hotel. They are still doing some remodeling and it was evident and occasionally noisy. My deadlock did not work on my door, although they did fix it. The pool and hot tub were very nice! The breakfast they provided to our group was very good. It was located in a good area of town.

Pros:

I like just about everything about this hotel except for the weak water pressure and the funky operating shower head/heads. Location excellent, free parking easy and handy. Food options were decent in the restaurants,

Water pressure inadequate. Shower head/heads worked funky. Nothing else to say and I am bored trying to hit your stupid almost done. I am done when I decide I am done.,

Gateway to the North with Fine Dining overlooking Waterfront
Pros:

The personnel at the Delta Sault Ste Marie always make my stay memorable. From the Front desk to the Chef that comes to your table; all of the people are welcoming offering a first class experience

We enjoyed our stay. Another pet friendly hotel that we will return to.
Pros:

The room was very comfortable and the location was great. The food from the restaurant was convenient and delicious.

Cons:

I know the hotel is in the midst of renovations so I am hoping they will upgrade the water pressure in the room. The shower was acceptable but could be better.

Worst stay at Delta Hotels Marriott Sault Ste Marie Ontario
Pros:

This has to be one of the most outdated hotels that I’ve stayed at in a long time. I’ve stayed at other Delta hotels Marriott, and farthest is the worst. I know they’re doing renovations, but they should just have not even rented the rooms. They are overpriced for no reason right now. I would stay away from this hotel until they finish the renovations in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. The bathtubs have rust in them. Unreal. How do you let this happen?

I like how they didn’t tell us about the renovation being done to the hotel until after we paid.

Cons:

We had our wee baby with us so I didn’t like how they was drilling and hammering two hours past the time they said.
