Amazing customer service & concierge staff
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel for a week in July, 2026. The hotel staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The concierge staff was the best ever, most notably Jacques. He was incredibly helpful and truly passionate about his work. He was all around wonderful, as were all of the concierge staff.

Wonderful stay in Quebec City!
Pros:

We stayed here with our two teenagers for two nights and were so pleased with our choice. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating with our questions and any requests. One staff member who went above and beyond was M. Jacques. He was so patient as we tried to find a restaurant for dinner that the whole family could agree upon (not easy!). He provided many options and also gave us an itinerary for the following day when we had plans to explore the city. Thank you Jacques for making our stay in Quebec City extra special. Magnifique!

Wonderful stay, with fantastic staff!
Pros:

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights. Our suite was very comfortable, and we could see the Chateau from our windows. The multi-lingual staff were accommodating, gracious, and professional. A stand-out among them was Monsieur Jacques, who greeted us at the entrance each day, and provided excellent local advice on our daily excursions. Thank you so much Jacques and Hotel PUR for a wonderful first visit to Quebec City. We hope to return again soon!

Wonderful Quebec City Trip
Pros:

My mother and I had a wonderful time at Hotel Pur in Quebec City. Mr Jacques made this trip even better with his expertise. He took the time to welcome us, make us a walking tour of Quebec City on map, and he helped us book a guided bus tour and cruise experience. The hotel is well located, with great restaurant options around and its own restaurant facility that served a great breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay.

Mixed review for Hotel PUR
Pros:

We stayed three nights at Hotel PUR in Quebec City. The hotel was under construction but the room was very nice. There is a good restaurant attached and Mary, the bartender, was very helpful. The hotel is not in a great part of town (lots of homeless people hanging around) and is an Uber or taxi ride away from the Chateaux Frontenac and the old part of town. The staff was very nice and the concierge, Jacques was the best - so helpful with restaurant suggestions and calling us a taxi.

Fantastic hotel in every way but it's location is questionable due to the level of homelessness.
Pros:

Our room was excellent in every way, front-facing, floor 15 (thankfully quiet) large and well kitted out. We couldn't fault it, Immaculate. Big, comfortable bed. Air con was a bit noisy but that's the only slight niggle. Bathroom was a good size and everything worked as it should. All the staff were a delight and couldn't do enough for us. Booking taxis, where should we eat tonight etc. etc. nothing was too much trouble. A masterclass in hospitality and good service.

Cons:

Only downside to this hotel is not the hotel's fault at all. It's the homeless who've decided to pitch camp outside the church next door making the whole area feel unsafe, noisy (they are shouting throughout the night which didn't upset us as we were on the 15th floor) and dirty. It seems to be made up of migrants, addicts and people with serious mental health conditions. Not nice and very sad but a reality and needs to be sorted out.
