Great stay, would recommend to family and friends.
Pros:

Close to my event, the amenities were great, lights outlet in the bathroom as nightlight, overhead bed lights, microwave, fridge, Spacious clean
rooms, Dove products, excellent.

Cons:

Breakfast too expensive.

I asked BOTH BOOKING AND THE PROPERTY—well in advance—for an invoice to be issued at the end of my stay, and they simply passed the buck. Damn, unacceptable!!!!!

Close to dining and shopping.

Cons:

We were in a room right by the elevator so the noise level was not good. Also I paid to stay there and then to have to pay 45 a night extra for parking was insane. It turned a 468 stay into an 878 stay. Next time I will book an air b& b because there's no reason to pay for a hotel & their own parking.

It's convenient to the bus line as well as shopping.

Cons:

The bed comforter was ripped up, and while we were out we only got housekeeping twice. Also there is no longer access to the balcony to enjoy the fresh air.

Great experience, great location
Pros:

Stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed it. The room quality is exceptionally high for a Holiday Inn and there is a lot of security at the hotel. I was arriving and departing from the Amtrak station and the location was ideal. Most people probably wouldn’t, but I found I could manage to wheel my luggage along the street, but I’m intrepid like that! It’s just over 10 minutes walk.

I tried the breakfast one morning which was a la carte and I had some amazing blueberry pancakes, much better than I expected from a hotel bistro. It’s an easy walk to Canal Street going mostly past office buildings. You don’t need to encounter the party district if you don’t want to.
