This hotel is old
not the expected Hilton standard ...I'm a Hilton honours member.
Design of building is circular
Rooms are awkward shape.
Lifts are old.
Noise from other rooms and public areas noticeable.
Fire alarm drill testing lasted over 20mins & very confusing. Mixed instructions.
Breakfast...don't bother...disorganised, badly laid out..just an utter shambles...worst I've ever experienced and we travel alot.
Incredibly disappointing

Overall, a fantastic stay!
Pros:

Location was excellent. Staff went above and beyond to cater to all the needs. Rooms were daily cleaned which was great. Pool was very well maintained. Breakfast had a nice spread with staff running around to make sure all guests can have a good start to their day. Great Job everyone!

Cons:

Rooms are a bit dated but they have upgraded bathrooms which was pleasant. Hotels doors were open from all sides but card access disabled. Might be a better idea to keep them locked and only for guest access.

Best pool in Cairns, location ideal but not in the noisy section of Esplanade. Room great, good view.

Pros:

Very close to restaurants, cafes, and CBD, right on The Esplanade too. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of bread, juice, cereal options with those who love crispy bacon or not are both catered for, along with a range of fresh fruits.
The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was not to bad.
