Everything it was okay, just a few things with the room, bath tub were dirty and the beds makes lots of noise hope they fix this problem

Great Breakfast Bar - hot food, pastries, fruit, coffees and teas with all the fixings.

Safe location - centrally located in downtown San Jose, near SJSU.
Rooms are spacious, clean and in good condition.

Parking at the hotel is unnecessary and costs $45 per night.
Instead, use Spot Hero. We found a very close and walkable parking in the nearby Adobe/US Bank building for $8 per night. Well worth the 5-minute walk.

Would stay here again.

It worked well as a starting point for our trip

The location can't be beat — very centrally located, and check-in was quick and easy. One tip: check in before you try to park in the garage. We got lucky and found a spot in the check-in area, but I noticed a lot of guests weren't so lucky and there simply wasn't space.

The parking situation itself needs serious work. It's $45/night with in-and-out privileges, but nobody tells you that you have to scan your ticket both entering and exiting. To exit, you have to trigger a sensor located extremely close to the rolling garage door, which then opens it — but the arm gate on the other side is always left up, so there's no indication to anyone that they're actually supposed to scan out first. You just drive up, the door opens automatically, and out you go, no idea you skipped a step. The real problem is if you don't scan out: you won't be able to re-enter the garage afterward. To make matters worse, the "help" button at the garage didn't work — staff told us all of their phones were down at the time. A quick heads-up from staff at check-in about the scan-out step would solve this whole mess before it starts.

Aside from that, the hotel itself was great — clean, spacious rooms. A couple of minor annoyances: ice machines aren't on every floor (we were on 5, had to go up to 6), and it wasn't clear whether the stairwell was usable for that kind of thing — the door was marked "emergency exit" so I didn't want to risk setting off an alarm. Also worth noting, only 2 of the 3 elevators were working during our stay.

Overall a solid stay for the location and room quality, but the parking process needs clearer communication and functioning support when things go wrong.

"This is my second time staying at the San Jose Hyatt Place, and once again, I'm thoroughly impressed. Both times, the cleanliness of the entire hotel and individual rooms was absolutely spotless!'. The hotel staff was absolutely magnificent! Everyone was so warm, kind, and always willing to help with a smile. They truly made our stay unforgettable. I would definitely stay her again and highly recommend it to others!"

Clean hotel and room, friendly staff and easy to get to. Breakfast was also very good and parking is very secure and easy in and out.

Best free breakfast ever. Huge selection and high quality tasty food. Huge eating area. Very comfortable room with extra sitting area, comfortable bed and chairs. Staff was exceptionable
