Stayed here for a conference. Hotel was very convenient to access from highway. Parking garage was adjacent. It's in a great location. It was very clean. Room was spacious. Service was terrific. They even provide lovely robes and slippers for use in each room. Wonderful stay!

Renovations going on we were not notified about. Restaurant and bar temporarily moved to a conference room - can you imagine how bad that was? We had 100 people staying for between 3 and 5 nights. As the conference organizer, they then charged me $50 for a 1:00pm check out. They would really lose a big corporate client for a $50 gain? Probably a textbook example of bad client service. Do not bother with this Hotel - many better choices available in DC!
Sorry to say there is nothing Grand about this Hyatt. Service is bad (except the gentleman at the concierge desk). Called guest services 5 times until they picked up the phone, to ask for shampoo (I had none in my room).
Restaurant options and room service time options are limited.
The value for this hotel is less than you would expect.
Stands out for cleanliness and quick check in and out. The conference food and organization is great. Rooms are spacious and tables are confortable.
Location is great — most places were within walking distance. As a Globalist member, I received a room upgrade and club lounge access, which saved us a lot of money since the lounge offered a variety of breakfast options and snacks throughout the day. Traveling with a baby makes it difficult to go out every time we need food, so having easy access to light bites and meals at the club lounge was incredibly convenient and a huge plus for us.
The location is excellent, with direct metro access right from the hotel.
The club lounge is absolutely worth it when traveling with kids — it made everything so much easier for our family :)
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself is very well maintained. We had a wonderful stay.

Normally when I stay at the Grand Hyatt I am made to feel welcome and like the staff wants to help me enjoy my stay. This visit did not have that experience . When my room wasn’t ready no one offered to hold my bags or to help me find something to do while I waited and since the restaurant and bar was closed no alternatives were offered… I also heard other guests asking about alternative options and the front desk staff acted annoyed they were being asked. I get that it’s probably a frequent question but that’s not our fault. The room was nice, don’t love the view of the lobby and other peoples rooms, I wish I had been offered a choice, even if it cost a little more.
