Close proximity to mall
Breakfast was way to expensive
It was way nicer than expected. Super modern, clean and comfortable.
I loved everything about it.
The property location is very convenient to Washington DC venues and attractions. It is accessible via a tunnel through the WMTA rail system which is an added bonus. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and our King bed room was modern and very clean. I especially liked the night lights on the bed’s sideboards - a night safety amenity. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family or anyone visiting DC.
Nothing
位置好,出行很方便
It was beautiful , stunning even .We all loved the train access and the lobby at any time was just incredible. I was under the impression the high floors could see the White House before I booked, after I was corrected and was told that’s not possible.
Upon arrival i said hello I’m here to check in😊, the man said License. That’s all no hello or welcome or anything .
That was my first impression. The outside was blocked off for what I am assuming to be construction. So no place to park while you drop off your stuff unless you pay 78 dollars a night for someone to park your car when you have no access. The TV in my son’s room didn’t work. They let him switch rooms the second day. How ever back to that I called a head of time to have adjoining rooms and I was told only special members or upgraded rooms have those , but I could ask the day of check in. I did and was told we were on the same floor. I truly felt unwelcome. I do travel a lot the last couple years . This was my second Hyatt. I was also told this hotel was for working people or mostly people attending conferences. I was recommended by someone who travels there every year and they had just stayed the first time the year before .
Beautiful design. Location.
Rashaun was great helping us with valet
Rashaun was very helpful. Good experience
I had a very good experience at the Grand Hyatt Washington. The customer service was excellent and housekeeping performed very well also. The hotel is in a good location near local attractions. The onsite entrance to the Metro is a big plus.
Great access to the Metro. Good walking distance to the Mall and great surrounding restaurants. Oribu was fantastic despite being open only a few weeks.
When I arrived, I was impressed with both the cleanliness and roominess of the main atrium, including the clear hanging acrylic chandelier type lighting. I also loved the way the furniture on the main floor was arranged, inviting small to medium-size groups of people to relax together in the well-lighted atrium. There were numerous smart-elevators providing extra security before being able to get the elevator moving. This was provided by simply using my room key to swipe in front of a sensor inside the elevator. Each elevator had the same setup and provided swift service going up and down. The atmosphere was laid back and very sheik in keeping with the very low noise level throughout most of the hotel. The hallways where spotless and quiet both night and day. The multi-levels of conference rooms were easily accessible via multiple escalators designed to move people from level to level en masse. There was also a ballroom down a few levels from the main floor. Also, having a Starbucks within the hotel was very much appreciated and opened each day at 4 am. My experience with room-service did not disappoint. Service took only half an hour, and the food was 5-Star all the way. Every staff person from the hotel's Concierge to the employees at the Starbucks were so polite, friendly and seemed to consistently care about their jobs and customer satisfaction.
