Lovely, comfortable hotel. Will definitely stay again.
Pros:

Beautiful and clean!

Cons:

Room service was really really bad. Food was inedible and after 2 days no one came to pick up tray left outside my door. When I called to have someone collect it, I was told "no one has ever called to ask that before" ?

Washington Durchreise
Pros:

Die Lage ist toll um die Kultu, die Denkstätten und Architektur der Stadt zu erkunden. Zudem hat es in der Nähe 2 der besten Frühstück Restaurants in der Nähe.

Cons:

Es gibt nichts negatives zu sagen, bis vielleicht dss, dass Parkieren sehr teuer ist und das Personal nicht hilft Koffer auszuladeden.

Great place for meetings and nice amenities
Pros:

While I wasn't in charge of picking our convention hotel, the Grand Hyatt was a great venue for our meeting. Their large group breakfast and lunch buffets were healthy and plentiful. Concierge always does a great job securing and taking care of everyone's luggage between the end of the meeting and late-in-the-day flights. Rooms were clean and updates continue to improve the hotel.

Friendly staff and unexpected Metro station
Pros:

We were in DC for a combination trip - National History Fair and anniversary. The entire staff was amazing through our whole stay - from the moment we checked in until we checked out. The big surprise after we got there was that the Metro Center station is attached to the hotel - making it so convenient to get out and back. Highly recommend, and will definitely be staying here again on our next DC trip.

It was a great experience from start to finish.
Pros:

Location is very convenient, reaching to the hotel or commuting is very easy as it has a direct metro connection. The staff and customer service were great, all of them were helpful and nice.

Grand Hyatt Washington D.C. Not Up to Expectations
Pros:

This hotel is very large and close to the convention center. It is easily accessible by Metro or taxi. I consider this more of a business conference hotel. The check-in process was torture. I was promised the room would be ready at 4 pm. It was not. I was told I would receive a text when the room was ready. I did not. No apology was offered. The room itself was clean, although it could use updating. Only one USB port as I recall. No coffee maker in the room. The restaurant was closed for renovations, and the room service menu is limited, expensive and not very good. The doormen did not offer to hail a taxi, so I did it myself. Having a Hyatt membership was not acknowledged or helpful. Not an overly friendly staff. Not much else to say. I had to stay here because of the conference I was attending. I would not stay here if I was just visiting.

Our first room was full of cigarette smoke and smelled really bad. Our second room was between an ice machine and an elevator which kept me up all night.

Amazing staff
Pros:

The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was very kind. RaShaun was a perfect gentlemen, he helped me get to my room and was able to get me the directions I needed. He was also very talkative, which was appreciated.
