Room 934 was far from the noise in the Atrium.

The location was central to downtown shopping, dining, government buildings, the White House, National Mall, memorial parks, and museums. Room service and the buffet both have a wide window of serving hours. The upscale restaurant inside the Grand Hyatt was closed during my visit but is expected to open soon from info stated. I felt safe staying at this location and appreciated the safety feature of needing a room key to activate the elevator to go up to the room and to get to the stairway. The room and bedding was clean. There were plenty of towels and toiletries. My room facing the interior/atrium was a little noisy for a short time, but later not even noticeable. It was not enough to keep me from sleeping. Customer service was top notch! I attended a conference, which has very nice meeting spaces. The catering for our conference was delicious and even better than I expected! Hats off to the chefs and the serving staff. The bathrooms on the conference levels were very clean, spacious, and well supplied. There are two nice stores for souvenirs and sundries inside the hotel. The metro transportation system comes right into the lobby; very convenient. Getting to and from the hotel by taxi was good with many options. The concierge gave me two numbers to call for fast and courteous taxi service back to the airport. This was less expensive than the trip in from the airport, which I appreciated. There are other amenities that I never used, but all was well at the Grand Hyatt.

Great hotel in a perfect location. Walking distance to attractions, plenty of restaurants nearby. Really comfortable hotel.

Very disappointing. For the price that I paid I would’ve thought and I would’ve gotten service comparable. Sadly, it was not the case.

I called the hotel to find out which metro stop to get off at. I think I was talking with AI, and it gave me the wrong stop. When I got off, I was completely lost. And what should have been a 7-minute walk turned into an over-an-hour walk, with me pulling my suitcase on uneven pavement through DC, trying to locate the hotel. I was hot and frustrated when I finally checked in. I told the front desk how disappointed I was with the directions to the hotel I received when I called.

Had a really lovely stay at the Grand Hyatt Washington for work. The room was nice and clean, it’s in a great location, and the bellhops, RaShaun and Mike, were the best! Loved chatting with them when I waited for my Ubers. Super friendly and provided some good recommendations.

RaShaun, Bryant, Washington and Jhon all do an excellent job out front- they are very quick to valet cars and very attentive on assisting guests. Thanks boys and see you next time!

The hotel is conveniently located in the middle of downtown, walking distance to many attractions and directly on the Metro line. This was a great feature. There is a new restaurant that said "Open Spring 2026 but it wasn't open. The bartenders at the bar were lovely. The rooms were on the small side--especially in the double rooms-- and there were no dressers! This was somewhat inconvenient. Overall, it was a decent hotel for the price.
