Hotel is located across the street from Tyson's mall. There is a 24 hour sundry available for snacks and toiletries. There is a restaurant/bar onsite with indoor and outdoor seating.
The room is a good size. Bed was comfortable. The bathroom is on the smaller side with limited counter space. Need parking pass $10. Parking also available in the garage next to the hotel. I would stay again.
Recommendations to hotel: Outlet blocks on both sides of the bed. Switch to smart TV to allow for streaming.
Only hiccup was when they tried to charge me for parking in a disabled space with a disabled placard. I protested and they removed the charge. But I find it astonishing that they would charge for parking in such circumstances. There was plenty of parking available at the hotel.

Ms Sintayehy had good service today.
I’m in the Tysons area regularly for business. This was my first time staying at this property. Two evenings I had dinner in the restaurant. Sintayehu was fantastic, great service and such a warm person greeting me when I came in. Will recommend this property and stay here in the future.
very amazing experience with Sintayehu
Clean, spacious rooms and bathrooms location is across shopping plaza. Overall was a good short stay
Breakfast was below average, dry bacon, cold eggs etc...
I came in solo and Tiblets made the whole experience amazing from start to finish. She was so kind, friendly, and approachable, and made me feel completely welcome right away. She was genuinely fun to chat with, super funny, and had such great energy that it honestly felt like catching up with a friend. She was attentive without being overbearing and made my visit way more enjoyable than I expected. Easily one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had — Tiblets is an absolute gem! 🌟
Marcella smile is contagious. He sets the example for customer service.Others should take his lead. Wonderful job and keep smiling!
Convenient location, clean rooms, friendly staff.
Nothing
The front the front desk was represented by captain, who was amazing and he greeted and treated me so well which made me feel welcome and comfortable. Instantaneously he made it a good experience! Captain is a great employeeq and should be recognized because all of your guests recognize him as the friendly helpful person that greets them every day when they come back the office hats off to him
Our stay at Double Tree Tyson was truly outstanding. The staff were notably friendly & Marchell’s dedication to delivering excellent costumer service was evident in daily checks to ensure satisfaction.
Super location, comfortable rooms, decent gym and a very well stocked on-premise store (for snacks, coffee etc)
The folks at the front desk were not always helpful. 3 times during our 4-day stay, I asked for change of a $100 bill (to pay for tips) and they flat out said “No”. It felt that they were not even listening to the request - the “No” was instantaneous.
In another incident, at checkout, I handed over some change (coins etc) and asked them to net off against my invoice and charge the balance on my credit card. Done this a thousand times at other hotels without any problem. Here again, the answer was “No”.
It felt that they were just not interested in helping out. Having said that, the staff in the breakfast restaurant was excellent. Very caring and helpful (2 ladies).
Excellent experience. From the moment I checked in, the gentleman at the front desk—whose name tag read “Captain”—was welcoming and helpful. On Saturday evening, we returned to our room to find a thoughtful note from Mari wishing us a good night’s sleep. Every detail was appreciated, and everything was perfect.
The service was great and the food was as well. The staff here are always very friendly and helpful.
