We enjoyed our stay.
Pros:

I was happily surprised at a shuttle service to nearby locations. With no swimming pool activity, we easily went to the Galleria Mall where we found a Build a Bear store. The hotel shuttle brought us back in time for the trip to the airport. The shuttle driver was friendly and took the long way to show the children how the trees and houses are different than at home. The activity helped make up for the unexpected layover in our travel plans and my choice of a hotel in North Dallas.
At the hotel, the children loved the "tiered seating area or steps" from the main lobby to the breakfast area.
I was delighted to see Crabtree and Evelyn soaps in the bathroom.

Cons:

The staff was polite informing us of the closed pool (too early in the season) and not a waffle day. The children who were looking forward to a waffle took the news well.

Breakfast was great and room was very nice!

Cons:

Bathroom could use a fan and increased shower water pressure. Room is great except for lack of lights and outlets. The bedside light seemed to flicker which gave me a headache so we tried to avoid it.

First and last time staying here.
Pros:

The lobby was nice.

Cons:

The bathroom sink made a loud dripping noise after turning off the faucet and at random times, day and night. It would wake me up in the middle of the night several times. I told the front desk, and they said it was fixed, but was not.

No complimentary water!
Pros:

The room is spacious.

Cons:

I expected much better from this property. While the check-in process was fine, the room itself had major cleanliness issues. The sink was actively moldy, which is both gross and a clear sign that housekeeping is cutting corners. It completely ruined the experience for me. Until management seriously addresses their cleaning protocols, I can't recommend this hotel to anyone. In addition to that, they charged us after we left $3 for a bottle of water! There is no complimentary water. This is such a cheap move to do.

It was good would stay again if I came back in town but hopefully have a functional A/C
