Sabila Boutique Hotel

I really liked the hotel! It's clean and cozy, located on a quiet side street near the stupa. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with any questions. I'll definitely be back

A wonderful, small hotel in a perfect and quiet location in the Buddha area in Kathmandu. I'm very grateful and would like to express my sincerely thanks to the all staff. And if fate ever brings me back to Kathmandu, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

I had a very pleasent stay at Sabila, very nice and very helpful staff, they made me feel at home far away from home, there was always time for a lovely conversations. Their delicous breakfast was served on the roof top terrace. Perfect location near the stupa of Boudha (5 min walk) and only 15 min walk to Shechen Monastery. I can highly recommend Sabila and will certainly stay there again when travelling to Kathmandu.

Torno sempre e solo al Sabilia. Per me è casa, ed Hari, il suo staff ed il dolce cane Pepe, sono famiglia.

Atmosfera familiare e rilassata. Pulizia, colazione e personale, eccezionali. Hari e tutto lo staff, sono sempre gentili, disponibili e di aiuto.

This is my second review of this hotel. It became our base as we explored Nepal. It's in a fabulous location, right near the stupa - but it's tucked away, and is very quiet all the time. Breakfast (and coffee) on the rooftop is great. Wonderful food, views and staff. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable - but it's the staff who make it wonderful rather than just really good. They're all very kind and caring and nice! They let us leave our luggage as we came and went, tolerated our repacking, and always remembered us and where we'd just gone. Such a nice feeling to be taken such good care of when away from home! Highly recommended.
And you can feel good knowing profits are supporting a great cause - ask them about it. You'll be glad you did.
Really - I'm sure there are other nice hotels around, but even without having seen them all I have no hesitation recommending Sabila!

I have stayed at Sabila Boutique hotel various times and every time absolutely enjoyed it.
I appreciate the location which puts you five minutes from the stupa and yet is very quiet, so apart from the singing of birds, nothing bothers your sleep. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the beds are very good, I slept very well, which is a gift after a long journey. The breakfast is served on the terrace and you can chose between different style of menus. I always go for Nepali and the cook is highly skillful! The guys who work there really try to meet your every need and are super friendly and have great attitude. I had to go to a monastery in the early morning and they arranged for a taxi and took care of everything. First time I came I had a cold and they really were so caring, you feel like you are at home with your family. I came back home a few weeks ago but I am already looking forward to my next trip to Nepal and of course I will chose Sabila to stay.

Friendly staff, nice ambience, quiet location. Great rooftop terrace with a view of the top of the stupa and hills surrounding Kathmandu. We had a double room,.comfortable bed, great shower. Lovely breakfast included. Would definitely stay again if returning to Kathmandu. Highly recommend.
