Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else!

The location but that’s it

Cons:

The photos on here are not representative. It’s very dirty, tired and scruffy. Burns in the carpet, ripped head bowed, holes and dints in the walls. The excuse for a curtain did nothing to block out the sun. Trains run right under your window so no sleep had.

We endured it because no alternate accommodation was available due to Wimbledon tennis

The location was acceptable. Close to Wimbledon the train station

Cons:

First room was dark with very poor lighting. Changed to another room on night and more windows so lighting was better However the electric lighting was unacceptable

Good hotel, cool room, though a bit on the expensive side.
Pros:

The location was perfect: only 10 minutes walk away from my friend's flat. The best bit about my hotel room was the super cool air conditioning, as there was a severe heat wave going on, during my stay there. The larger than average room was super clean, with good standard facilities. The bed was lovely and large (a pity my husband wasn't with me!). Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't included with my 'deal' (but luckily, my friend provided one, at her flat). The only member of staff I saw (the manager) was very kind and friendly: his name is Nuinesh. Overall, I liked the hotel and because of the above positive elements, I would stay there again.

Cons:

Well, I suppose the first thing was the price: yes, I know it's London, but £305 for one person, for two nights, without breakfast, was, I felt, rather excessive. The only other thing was the furnishings in the room: overall, they were a bit 'soul-less' and basic and the curtains had come adrift from their hooks, in some places. There was a slight tear in one of the net curtains and a 'slash' on the plastic edging of the mattress, at the foot end. The windows didn't open, but with the super efficient air conditioning, thankfully that wasn't a problem.

Putney Hotel does the business!
Pros:

It's a great location close to tube, train & buses ...close to Riverside walks & parks, great choice of cafes & bars

The staff at Putney Hotel are exceptionally friendly & helpful. We got warm welcome at check in & check out & every time passing through reception.

We were delighted with the air conditioning.

Can't think of anything!

The facilities were excellent and they staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Room had everything you could have needed and was a really good size for the price point. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in London.

Good location and attentive staff. Super handy that our luggage could be stored after check-out.

Cons:

For a family of three, we wish we could have had a single bed put in the executive double room, rather than use the sofa bed.
