Categories

Cleanliness
7.2
Mixed signals: several guests praised very clean rooms and a spa-like scent, but multiple reports of unclean-smelling bedsheets, an old hallway carpet and an incident mentioning dog feces and inconsistent housekeeping lower the score.
Service
8.6
Generally positive: many comments note polite, friendly and kind staff; however a few instances of rude/indifferent front desk behavior and housekeeping errors were reported, but overall service leans positive.
Location
9
Strongly positive: repeatedly described as a great/very good location, close to shops and restaurants and repeatedly noted as 'buena ubicación' by multiple guests.
Room Quality
8.4
Mostly positive: comfortable beds, nice rooms and non-carpeted floors were praised, though isolated cleanliness/odour issues affected some stays.
Amenities
8
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Value for Money
7.2
Mixed: some guests explicitly praised excellent value, while others complained about high price and expensive parking, pulling the overall perception down.
Food and Beverage
8
Standard quality for this hotel tier.
Overall Experience
7.6
Mixed-to-positive overall: many guests would stay again and called the stay wonderful, but recurring housekeeping and occasional staff rudeness led to a somewhat tempered overall score.

Very good value money, safe and clean
Pros:

The price was absolutely fantastic for Coral Gables. And the facilities were very good for this price. A supermarket is in walking distance. The area is totally safe. Room was clean.

Cons:

I had something noisy outside my window. But I only stayed one night. Likewise, the ice machine in the corridor was very noisy. I would not want to be in a room near that thing. I am sensitive to noise. Others probably don’t care.

Very clean and comfortable rooms as always with Marriott. I wake up refreshed!
Pros:

I didn't visit it, but my sister did and came back with nothing for me to eat.

Cons:

I heard that the breakfast was not a true breakfast but a selection of pre-made options. The fact that Marriott does not include breakfast in the cost of the stay is okay with me, but at least offer better selections to choose from. Lobby coffee would be a nice touch.
