Excellent brief stay
Pros:

Perfect location for exploring old and new city, close to public transportation so we didn’t use our car. The room was quiet despite the festival going on that week. The staff was impeccably helpful, even arranging for an early picnic breakfast for our early morning departing flight. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel
Pros:

Beautifully designed hotel in the old town of Bilbao, a true architectural gem. Nice and spacious room. Impeccable service. Exceptional one Michelin star restaurant in-house, we had an excellent dinner there. The breakfast is a la carte and high-quality, also served in the restaurant but lacks a bit of variety and choice when staying for longer. The bar is relatively small and only serves some nibbles (pintxos).

Cons:

Nothing much to criticize. It's fantastic to have a Michelin starred restaurant in-house, since they don't serve an a-la-carte menu, this is unfortunately only good for one dinner if you don't want to have the same menu twice. There's a lot of restaurants in the old town around, so no big deal. Parking in front of the hotel is problematic even for taxis, no space aside from the side walk to stop even for a couple of minutes.
