The views are spectacular. We selected a suite when booking that was the same price as other rooms but got us our own private balcony and more space in the room. The front desk staff were extremely kind and I was surprised to see we were able to check in an hour prior to check in. I walked in fully expecting to be turned around but figured I would give it a chance.
The property is very dated and could definitely use an upgrade. I expected more based on how much I paid for the room. The lock on the door to the balcony was very difficult to operate and at one point thought we were going to have to leave it unlocked through the night. The door to the room had to be deliberately pulled closed and locked. But overall we weren’t concerned for our safety considering the area and the guests around us. We arrived for breakfast 10-15 minutes prior to close. I assumed we would have to take the food to our room to allow staff to clean up but we weren’t met with the friendliest staff. Things were being taken out as we arrived and continued to be removed as we tried to gather a plate to go. I understand everyone has a job to do but if you walk into a restaurant during operating hours you aren’t turned away because you got there close to closing time. You are taken care of as quickly but efficiently as possible. We just wanted to grab a plate to have something in our stomachs for the long drive home.

The beach area was nasty! Black stuff all on the beach and in the water
It was on the bay. But between the cigarettes and glass in the sand. Along with the broken pieces of cement. No. Don’t. Do.it.
The “view” I paid extra for was of sidewalk an trees. The “house keeping” never came to take trash or switch towels. (Non existent). Our air conditioner unit leaked. Into our floor all the way to bed so had to wait on maintenance to come fix. Used up most of our towels trying to dry it up. The breakfast was terrible. Even had another guest screaming he would never be back here. The ice machines were down. The beach that has chairs broken to pieces a was about 30 feet long. I never write reviews. But this place took the cake. The cleanliness of the room was disgusting. Don’t be fooled by pictures.
