It's really not that bad for a 3 star hotel. Questionable, but you can't deny the dome feature.
Pros:

The dome. I feel like everyone did. It is truly a one of a kind interior and makes you feel like you’re staying at a resort hotel. I live in the area and I came here for a staycation. I’ve passed by this hotel so many times. I was absolutely amazed by the pictures and glad to have finally have been able to see the inside after just seeing the exterior for years. The pool was really nice. We ended up having the whole pool to ourselves because we went in the morning and it was empty all morning. Even though it has glass walls,it's still secluded in a way and you still feel like you have your own space. We'd get curious glances sometimes but for the most part everyone minded their business. The water was warm and a lot more warmer than most hotel pools where you feel like you can actually swim and not be shivering for the whole time like at the last hotel we stayed in. I would definitely recommend hitting up the pool, even if you don't spend a lot of time in there and there's a chance you'll have it to yourself and end up spending more time than you planned on.

Cons:

I wasn’t notified that the venue was booked ALL night long for a prom. The dome is also hit or miss because if it’s raining you don’t get to fully enjoy the experience and you have to hope that it just happens to be sunny for the next 2 days if you plan on staying for a night. It would kind of be nice if it had controlled lighting for rainy/cloudy/pale sky days in the winter and at night it could be like the starlight sky at the Planetarium which is in Rochester for when the stars aren't out. We were able to use the pool the next morning when the sun was out and it was nice experience so I can't beat myself up for not going the night before. I understand most hotels don't do this but it just would have been nice to know there was a prom planned for that night and we'd have to deal with annoying entitled teenagers. It wouldn't have made me not want to stay but I could mentally prepare for it. Even if I was considering going for a night swim,it's kind of hard to want to do that when there's a whole prom outside of the glass walls. It really just depends on the vibe of the room. If there's too many people in the main foyer, even if you have your own space,it's not worth it. My partner was also disappointed to find that there wasn't a Sauna, just a restroom. On the plus side, without a hot tub and Sauna included you're less likely to have to worry about the pool being crowded but it also kind of sucks.

Overall my experiences there has been good
Pros:

The place was good, clean and central

Cons:

The first person at the front desk when I checked in was a little dismissive and not helpful when I asked some questions. I went back later on and the gentleman was able to accommodate and give me a better service.
The first person acted as if I was bothering her

Improvement Needed
Pros:

On the surface, this is a nice hotel. Many areas are re-modeled, and there is a huge open atrium where the pool and bar are located.

However, I did have some issues with it:

I book a standard room, but I was given a handicapped room. I checked my booking -- "King Bed, Standard Room". The room also had pass-through doors to the adjacent room. The sound goes right through those, though fortunately it wasn't a problem at this time. I asked for a different room, but the Desk Supervisor claimed I had booked a handicapped room and refused to make the change, claiming the hotel was full. This at 5:00 in the afternoon, should have been plenty of rooms free.

The parking lot is in poor condition, many potholes, desperately needs to be re-paved.

All the rooms have hardwood floors, I would have preferred carpet.

At least the breakfast buffet was good, and reasonably priced. I over-slept and caught them as they were about to close it down, but it was still good.

Worst place to stay
Pros:

We stayed for 5 nights. Worst hotel I have stayed in many years. Three different our room never got serviced. The 2nd morning we discovered that the bed spread had big red blotches on it. Not sure if it was make up or blood marks. I have pictures. This not just spots, it was a big area. House keeping was the worst. Hall carpet was not cleaned all the time we were there. We know this because of the small pieces of paper on the floor. Our room floor never got cleaned. We could not get any hand towels till the last day we were there. The exercise room was dirty. No wipes to wipe the equipment off after working out. Only 2 machine were working. Dirty towels were left there all week that were there. We were told by a person there that the new manger was there and cutting corners. Refrigerator in our room froze every thing we put it All these thing were brought to the front desk and nothing was ever done about. I have stayed in many Hilton hotels Over the years. Never have I ever had this kind of experience.

Okay stay.. not great
Pros:

The pool was nice, but i had a worker yell at my children that they needed a parent before they went in. I was about 6 steps behind them. Then we enter the pool area, and there were extremely rowdy hockey team in there with no parents who made the pool unenjoyable.

Cons:

My room was not ready when i arrived at 6pm! I had 1 towel, no wash clothes shampoo and conditioner both empty. For the price I was pretty disappointed.

Not a great experience again.
Pros:

Convenient

Cons:

Front desk /check in process is chaos.
Two years in a row, our rooms weren’t ready at check in; and they couldn’t care less. We waited in the lobby 1+ hours for our rooms. No apology, no discount, no cookies ready….
This year there were about 40 other people waiting for their rooms to be ready after scheduled/posted check in time.
