Overall fair and good value for money, but really does need freshening up.
Pros:

Good room sizes. Nice beds and clean bedding and towels. Location is great.

Cons:

Damp, peeling wall paper and mould water damage in bathroom and bedroom wall.

E' un pub con ristorante e servizio di hotel in un paesino che offre anche un centro commerciale con i soliti negozi di marche conosciute in tutto il mondo.
Il personale è gentile, il ristorante di buona qualità a prezzi standard
Il parcheggio è ampio

La disposizione e l'accesso alle stanze è piuttosto scomodo e sono piuttosto rumorose

Excellent location with comfortable bed & very helpful staff
Pros:

Excellent location and really appreciated they were able to accommodate our ground floor request for twin beds. We actually ended up in a very large family room with a superking bed & sofa bed. So lots of space and extra room to put bags & hang clothes.

Cons:

A bit dated - needs a lick of paint here & there. The room we had, had an en-suite -but difficult to climb into bath as very high and didn’t like you couldn’t control the shower head - meaning more difficult to keep hair dry when not needing to wash it!

A great find
Pros:

Friendly staff despite being very busy , mistakes made with food and drink but rectified without being asked . The room was separate to the pub and lovely cottage feel to it with own patio door , could put a table outside on the stones .
Clean room could do with more pillows . Ideal for Clark’s village as it’s just across the road.

A high standard of accommodation in an excellent location in Street
Pros:

The Bear Inn is in an ideal location in Street. There is free parking for guests. The breakfast menu is very good and excellent value. The staff are consistently helpful.

Cons:

There's nothing I didn't like. I've stayed at the Bear many times and this occasion also met expectations.
