Friendly staff
The ac in our room didn’t work. I called the front desk and they got us a new room.
Clean and comfortable
The TVs weren’t smart TVs. Can’t watch my streaming services
Breakfast
Ants where all over my things and food on the night stands and I could watch Netflix on the tv
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree in the Peachtree-Dunwoody area of Atlanta for what was supposed to be a peaceful “reset weekend.” Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite due to major cleanliness and service failures.
When I returned to my room late Friday night (around 1 a.m.) and pulled back the sheets, I discovered fresh blood stains in the bed. Since it was the middle of the night, I moved to the second bed and planned to report it first thing in the morning.
At 7:30 a.m. Saturday, I contacted the front desk and was told housekeeping would come right away so I could still enjoy my day. That did not happen. Housekeeping didn’t arrive until 1 p.m., which cost me half my day and completely disrupted the relaxing weekend I had planned.
While waiting, I checked the second bed (the one I slept in) more closely and discovered what appeared to be old blood or other biological stains. At that point, it was clear the room had not been properly cleaned at all prior to my arrival.
At checkout, I reported everything to the manager on duty, who acknowledged the issue and offered 10,000 Hilton Honors points. However, only 4,000 points were actually added to my account. After completing a survey, I was later offered 25,000 points—only for that offer to be rescinded and replaced with a partial refund.
The inconsistency, lack of urgency, and overall handling of this situation were extremely disappointing—especially as a Hilton Honors member since 2018 who has stayed at many DoubleTree properties without issue.
This was not a minor inconvenience. This was a serious cleanliness concern that disrupted my stay and undermined my trust in this location.
I hope management takes this review seriously and implements better housekeeping quality control and more responsive guest service going forward.
I cannot recommend this location based on my experience.
Great room and location. Easy access to the interstate. Awesome breakfast & the restaurant was a plus
It was kids running and knocking on doors all night while made it hard to sleep.
Everything!
Nothing
The staff was very friendly. I was greeted upon walking in. I was able to choose the floor I wanted to stay on. Of course I can't forget about the cookies!
I would say let the guests know it is not a continental breakfast
The beds and bathroom felt clean. No weird hotel smell so that is major plus for me. I would stay here again.
