Goed verblijf gehad met veel mogelijkheden in de omgeving.
Pros:

Goede menukaart, met aparte glutenvrije kaart. Vriendelijk personeel, goede lokatie.

Cons:

Hotel heeft wat onderhoud nodig, ook omdat het al een oud gebouw is.

It fulfilled it's purpose for an overnight
Pros:

The staff were friendly, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was good

Too many stairs, very tatty. Needs a good update, carpets need replacing and refurbishment

Weinig. Het bed was redelijk

Cons:

Een oude pub, maar nodig toe aan opknapbeurt. We vonden onze kamer erg tegenvallen met een verrot kozijn, beschadigde muur en zeker niet schoon. In de avond hebben we in de pub gegeten. Mijn salade was okë, maar van mijn vriend zijn soort indiase mixed grill echt niet. Droog gebakken tot zelfs een beetje verbrand vlees. Het ontbijt was redelijk.
Het personeel was vriendelijk maar kwam niet professioneel over. Wij hebben alleen nogal jong personeel gezien die bijv. niet kwamen vragen of alles naar wens was of zo.
Van het stadje zelf werd je ook niet echt vrolijk, maar prima voor doorreis.
Wij waren er gelukkig maar 1 nacht.

Cons:

We asked for a quiet room to the back of the builing on the second floor - we got a first floor room facing the street. Without any communication.
Needs a bit of an update, quite pricey for what you get

I won’t be booking a holiday, but great for a short stay
Pros:

Very basic, you get what you pay for.
Food in the pub was very good value for money and the staff were excellent

Cons:

Bath panel off bath and empty pop tins underneath bath, paint on ceiling was peeling off , door to room hard to open from the inside, also had ambulance crew knocking at 1020pm waking me up.

When I told staff about the bath panel one just took it as a joke saying ' there is a bin in the room " when I explained about the bath panel hanging off and the rubbish underneath the bath.

Cons:

Breakfast good but avo was from a tube. Smoking areas were right at each door we needed to get in or out of the hotel.

We won’t stay there again.
Pros:

A good central location.

Cons:

The toilet had skid marks in it when we arrived. It hadn’t been cleaned properly, if at all!
It was hot weather so there was a portable fan in the room. Unfortunately the fan was absolutely covered in dust. It was disgusting.
The only meal we ate there was overcooked.
Breadcrumb covered chicken that was dry and tough.

A very basic hotel, badly needing investment. Staff pleasant and helpful. Central location.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Bike storage available. Breakfast OK. Good central location.

Cons:

The building and rooms are badly in need to maintenance / upgrading. Carpet in restaurant filthy. Wallpaper and follor covering in room and bathroom cracked and peeling. Shower leaking.

Comfy room, good food reasonably priced and very pleasant, friendly staff.
Pros:

The room was clean and comfy, with all necessary facilities. The meal I ordered for dinner was fine - typical 'pub grub' but good and reasonably priced. I had breakfast next morning and a pleasant surprise as what I ordered (toast with avocado and egg plus coffee) was £1 cheaper than I expected. Also there were cereals, pastries, fruit and juices available at no extra charge.

Cons:

My only grumble would be the noise! The night I stayed the pub was hosting a charity event which included karaoke. It was all very loud, but I imagine an 'ordinary' night would be quieter!

Location & staff.

Cons:

The bed had no headboard and due to wooden trucking along the base of the wall the beds could not be pushed up against the wall. So there was a gap between the wall and the bed. The pillows kept falling into the gap. So I jammed the other pillows into this gag.

Stayed in Marstons before Was extremely disappointing and will probably not stay in Marstons again !
Pros:

STAFF AND BREAKFAST

Cons:

FAMILY ROOM AT TOP WHEN LOWER ROOM REQUESTED.
Toilet bowl disgusting and room move requested.
ROOM MOVE TO LOWER LEVEL MEANS NO NOTICE WAS TAKEN OF REQUEST FOR ACCESSIBLE ROOM
