No Air conditioning
As always with Marriott, the bed was very comfortable, parking was available and they generously let us stay parked a few more hours without extra charge. We didn't have breakfast as there is so much in the neighbourhood.
The air conditioning was always going but did not cool the room. I had already seen all the complaints about this in the reviews so I wasn't surprised by it but it was not good. The room never got below 26 degrees C. Note: the building is ½ a block into the Congestion Zone.
Fantastic location and clean room, nice king size bed. The exec lounge is handy for drinks and snacks but there are loads of arab visitors who tend to treat it as their personal living room with screaming kids running around. First time I went there, several young ladies were adjusting their head scarves at the large mirror blocking the entrance. No one was rude at all, and staff are really nice and welcoming. Just do not expect any friendly interactions or conversations with any other guests. I won't go back ( to the lounge OR the hotel) because it feels uncomfortable. I do not recognize one of my favorite cities--my bad, totally. Should have read the reviews.
The rooms we stayed in were of good size, perfect location & exactly what we needed for our stay. The breakfast cost us separately but it was well enjoyed.
I requested a cot for my baby, once checked in the lady advised us one would be sent to the room. We didn’t have one at all. Check in from was from 3pm, 3.40pm and our rooms were still not quite ready. Also, I had to ask every day for our rooms to be serviced as we came back at 4.45pm and our beds or towels were not changed, teas and coffees were not replenished. Room 619 the shower came off the wall mid shower which frightened me. The toilet seat in that room was also really loose.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hot water for the shower only got warm.....and the lifts are a nightmare.

They don’t have toilets shower (beddet shataf) particularly the majority of the guests are from GCC area , they only provide battery charged one which needs to be charged periodically

My daughter had bought a gift voucher for afternoon tea at the Marriott Hotel, Marble Arch. Occasionally when we have redeemed a voucher we have been sat at the back of the restaurant and not been treated so well.
Not today.
From the moment we arrived Vivian, our host treated us like royalty.
He was attentive but not overbearing. He remembered our names and recommended the best tea blends to go with our sandwiches and cakes.
The afternoon tea itself was dainty, exquisite and delicious.
Every member of staff was polite, warm and friendly.
It was a wonderful experience and we will definitely go again for special family occasions.
As always, Marriott did not disappoint. I'm a loyal Marriott guest, and this hotel once again delivered excellent service, comfortable rooms, and a welcoming atmosphere.
The staff were friendly and professional, the room was spotless, and the location was perfect for exploring London. Everything was smooth from check-in to check-out.
I always enjoy staying with Marriott, and I look forward to my next visit. Highly recommended!
The location is unmatched, 5 minutes walk to the Hyde Park and Marble Arch. It’s newly refurbished and is in perfect condition. Heinrich at the front desk is an exceptional person. Greets everyone with a smile and makes you comfortable. My check in was done in less than 3 minutes and even though I was early, he immediately got a room for me. For a central London accommodation, this place is the best
