sort of a diamond in the rough, but with a glitch or two
Pros:

We discovered this place in 2016, when it had felt both affordable and inviting--especially the pools and the food and bar service there. We miss those pre-pandemic days, but appreciate the lovely outdoor pool area in particular--clean, spacious, pretty, good/fair accessibility for people with physical disabilities--even without the food and drinks. Friendly front-desk staff, lots of workers throughout the large property, good soundproofing. But--imagine our surprise when our room that was advertised to sleep four had only one king-sized bed! The staff seemed sympathetic and changed our room, but communication with the management felt uneven. I had wanted a mobility-accessible room so that I could shower, but there are no rooms of this type that sleep more than two adults (in one bed), it seems, despite advertising to the contrary. (They brought me a shower bench at my request, though.) In addition, the multiple doors throughout the hotel are hard to maneuver independently, in the absence of automatic door openers, except at the hotel entrance. Despite these challenges I still like this hotel, and I hope things can be improved in the future. (And here's hoping the great restaurant and bar can return some day in the future!?)

Okay stay.
Pros:

The hotel is quaint and a good deal for the area. The outdoor pool was great. The staff was friendly and responsive to our needs.

Ok apart from the breakfast! Signs could be put up to make other guests be more quiet and respectfuc

Not a fan of the ‘grab and go’ breakfast thing! But the rest of the experience was good!

We have stayed at three different hotels in Portland and yours was the nicest.
Pros:

The beds were very comfortable. Having the two chairs was very convenient. The staff was very friendly.

It was a decent place to spend the night.
Pros:

My son and I enjoyed the Pool. We also liked the Hot tub. The beds were good. The grab n' go breakfast was appreciated.

Cons:

The TV remote did not work well and the controls for the A/C did not work.

Perfectly adequate for the price and the location.
Pros:

Not fancy but beds and bedding were quite comfortable. The outdoor pool was very nice. Plenty of areas to sit. We ordered takeout and were able to eat at tables set up in the lobby area. Showers worked well. Very quiet overnight.

Cons:

Sink and counter area quite low.

We barely were in the hotel. But it seemed nice and clean
Pros:

The staff was nice, the room was spacious and clean

Cons:

The air conditioning seemed to be self controlled. Put it up high and it never seemed cold enough

I would not rush back, but it was one of the more affordable places in the region.
Pros:

The room was mostly tidy. Exercise room was comfortable for me, being the only one in the room.

Cons:

No cleansing wipes for the gym equipment and the towels were in another room. Seems the "breakfast" was geared toward grab and go more than a fresh fruit & continental buffet. Maybe the regular clientele is geared more toward service workers than family?
