Tons of good and cheap places supper close no real food at all

Cons:

Having basic things for travelers or bear min some type of food or something but again everything is close unless you get there late fridge is massive also

Convenient for what we needed, but overpriced and in need of room updates.
Pros:

The courtyard was a good space for our group of teenage boys and families to hang out, use the pool, pavilion seating (evenings) and tables/chairs to eat when we got takeout; Beds were fine in terms of comfort; The rooms did have small refrigerators and microwaves that came in handy: Close proximity to stores, old orchard beach, downtown Portland.

Cons:

The outdated decor, which we could get past, but the hallway and rooms walk to wall carpeting had better days, felt kind of dirty; the front desk manager - who’s approach to responding to guests’ questions or requests had a negative, unfriendly demeanor that felt very unnecessary.

Staff was excellent and it is a very good value.
Pros:

Facilities were nice, the rooms were comfortable and it was very clean. It was too early in the season for the outdoor pool and patio.

Cons:

The hot tub / jacuzzi was hard for older people like us (60’s) to get in / out of.

Pros:

The staff is friendly enough but the pictures of this property are a bit misleading. It’s right next to a busy street right off the highway and everything inside is extremely old. You also have to go to the front desk if you want anything because housekeeping isn’t always present. We didn’t have our room cleaned once or the sheets changed. Now, the indoor pool and jacuzzi would have been a nice touch but both were absolutely filthy. They didn’t clean the pool once in 5 days and same with the jacuzzi. It was pretty gross. Didn’t spend alot of time in the room so it was OK but I think money could be spent elsewhere

It was clean. Room was comfortable.

Cons:

Vestibule reeked of weed. The outside ash tray sits immediately outside of the door despite the 25 ft away smoking signs. Tiny bathroom no room for 2. Outlet only on 1 side to charge phones.

Enjoyable but also a hassle
Pros:

Pools were great! Rooms were clean!

Cons:

4 out of the 5 days our room keys wouldn’t work. We were staying in the back of the hotel. So every time they didn’t work. We would have to walk the whole way to the front desk with everything we were carrying to get new keys made.
