Americas Best Value Inn - Baltimore

This hotel doesn't feel safe. It is located in a very bad area of Baltimore. It also seems like there were some permanent residences there and there were a lot of people loitering in reception and outside the hotel. The rooms were run down with very uncomfortable beds. I decided to go with this hotel as there were no hotels available in the city due to the Rugby at M&T Bank stadium. If you are in the same boat, rather stay in DC and travel in by train

First and foremost there is nothing on the ad of this listing that warns for what you are going to walk into at this place. Non-smoking rooms are non-existent even when put in a non-smoking room.

It was an older building that needed a lot of renovation. There seemed to be people living there who were some kind of clients. There was a desk that clients needed to check in and out at and there was also an office for a doctor near the lobby, which felt odd. I didn’t see any free breakfast nor was it mentioned or offered and no snack area like most hotels. It was clean and definitely what we paid for choosing a less expensive hotel, so overall, really no complaints.

The carpet was still wet when we arrived at 10:30pm, even though it had been cleaned.

No mobile charging usb other ports

Homeless and addicts hang around in the lobby and front parking lot all hours of the night. Toilet was leaking water on to the floor. The bed had more potholes than Downtown Baltimore roads.
