Won’t be returning
Pros:

Older hotel they tried to renovate and failed. For the price it needs many more guest amenities to be considered “high End”. However Desk Receptionists, Housekeeping all pleasant, professional and efficient. Cannot recommend this hotel for the price they charge.

Our favorite hotel in TC
Pros:

We’re locals and love visiting the Delamar! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and hospitality is always top tier. We’re always greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. We enjoy the cafe for a quick bite and coffee and absolutely love the outdoor pool and sauna inside. On top of the amenities, the lobby is a cozy yet spacious place to hang out, have a glass of wine, or work. Board games are provided in the lobby lounge and it’s also a great spot to catch some gorgeous views of Lake Michigan.

Robes, towels, soaps, and the lotions in the rooms provided are wonderful. The rooms also come stocked with drinks and snacks you can purchase and also have a keurig with coffee and tea pods. 10/10 recommend staying!

Outrageous drink prices
Pros:

The drink prices are outrageous. A small wine in a small plastic cup $16. We are not in Miami Beach folks.

Great weekend get-away spot
Pros:

It was a perfect spot with easy walking access to downtown traverse city. The outdoor heated pool and live music in the lounge exceeded our expectations. The food at the artisan was a super special treat.

Absolutely beautiful and we can’t wait to return!
Pros:

Really comfortable beds and the indoor pool area was beautiful. Everything was awesome!

Cons:

Couple signs of wear and tear in the room and the door stuck a bit when opening and closing but nothing major! Also was surprised there was no breakfast provided.

Pros:

Such a fun place to stay! The staff is so kind and made our stay memorable. The indoor pool is very nice and the heated outdoor pool was a hit!

Disappointed based on hotel website descriptions.
Pros:

The front desk folks were not helpful at all with any information regarding things to do in Traverse City or restaurant recommendations. The only restaurant in the hotel was closed Thursday night for a private event. There was no mention of that when making my weekend reservation.
The room was very bare and lacked any furniture other than beds and a desk chair.

Pros:

I enjoyed the friendly staff and the welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were very nice and available when I wanted to use them.

Cons:

The only thing I can say is I would have liked room service.

Pros:

Location: top notch, close to all shops and eateries within 3min drive or 5-15min walk
Atmosphere: delightful. Friendly staff, clean everywhere can still see its old bones amidst the renovations which added history and charm.
Rooms: very clean and well appointed. Corner king views of lake are stunning.
Value: incredible based on location alone but amenities and food and service make it a must try.
Cleanliness: everywhere was clean and well maintained. Very nice.
Noise: normal hotel noises nothing of note or complaints
Service: friendly and kind and helpful
Amenities: that outdoor/indoor heated pool situation?? Fabulous.
Restaurant on site was nice.
Cool bar:lounge area as well as full food coffee bar. Get the Caesar salad.
Loved it. Will stay again.

Spacious, clean, fun, great location.
Pros:

This hotel is spacious, clean, and fun. I love the heated outdoor pool and indoor pool and hot tub. Staff is super kind and friendly. Nice that they offer wine or sparkling water when you check in.

Cons:

They should have some kind of breakfast due to the higher pricing they have.
