Pros:

The room was nice, cozy and clean. The hotel is near to Lotus, which is very good and easy for us to get food.

Cons:

During check in the receptionist has informed there will be no water from 1.30am till 3am. So I timed to be back in hotel in time and get shower. However when I want to take shower at 11.30pm the hot water was already cut. Turns out the maintenance has been started but not informed the guests at all!!!!

Room looks old, need some renovation. The towels have stains on it, looks dirty. I wouldn't go back.

Very poor managment , middle of the night power went off , hotel keys were not working properly , breakfast time until 10:30 , but around 9:30 most things finished for eating and they dont refill.

Probably not up to fire code, badly maintained hotel.

Close to Straits Quay

Cons:

It’s falling into disrepair. Safe doesn’t work, sliding door is stuck, vinyl flooring is popping up. In my most recent stay, there was a power outage in the middle of the night and the hotel reception was totally unreachable and they made no attempt to contact us. I finally made the walk down 20 over storeys to find the fire escape stair case stop at level 8! I exited through a door and ended up at the function room area. I had to walk across to the end of the floor to access another stair case that eventually brought me to the ground level. I shudder to think the amount of panic I will have if this is a real emergency. When I reach the lobby, the staff on duty asked me to wait this out in my car if I feel that my room is too stuffy. 🫩

Dreckiges und abgenutztes Zimmer mit schlechtem Service.
Cons:

Nicht buchen! Die Sauberkeit in diesem Hotel ist eine Katastrophe. Mein Zimmer war sehr abgerockt und marode. Es war deutlich verdreckt und gealtert:
1. Die Bettdecke, das Bettlaken und das Kopfkissen hatten allesamt einige Flecken, die darauf hindeuten, dass es schon benutzt wurde. Die Decke hatte sogar Urinflecken.
2. Das Badezimmer müffelt unangenehm
3. Der Fußboden sowie die Tische und Ablageflächen hatten klebrige Flecken, welche ich mit einem Desinfektionstuch entfernt habe. Dieses war danach sehr braun.
4. Die Lampen flackern und summen.

Service
Ich sah mich gezwungen, das Hotel nach einer Nacht zu verlassen. Die Managerin wurde zu dem Fall hinzugezogen und war sehr freundlich und nahm den Sachstand auf. Mir wurde ein Upgrade in die Executive Suite angeboten, welches ich ablehnte: Der Grund meines frühen Check-Outs war nicht nur das Zimmer, sondern auch das ungenießbare Frühstück (wo Sauberkeit übrigens auch nicht vorhanden war.)

Die Managerin versicherte mir, dass ich mein gesamtes Geld wiederbekommen würde, obwohl ich darauf keinen Anspruch hätte.

Danach passierte nichts mehr. Ich ließ den Fall über Booking.com eskalieren. Dort bekam ich dann nach ein paar Tagen die Info, dass das Hotel nicht bereit ist, eine Erstattung zu veranlassen.
Warum also wurde mir das von der Hotelleitung versprochen?

Ich empfehle jedem, einen großen Bogen um diese Unterkunft zu machen. Die Lage war auch nicht die beste.

Management of hotel service leaves much to be desired.

Doorman was attentive

Cons:

Reception staff not well trained for cust svc, knowledge limited. Staff kept agreeing that mineral water can be provided in Room, yet housekeeping said the bottled water was all they hv. My friend's Room didn't even hv water jug provided.
Room safe box not working.
Room aircond temp was erratic
Breakfast coffee stations had broken down.
