Alexis and Nia at the front desk!! I had to interact with them quite a bit because of problems with our room and they both were friendly and very helpful
We were two seniors and one required oxygen 100% of the time. There was a phone in the room, but the line was dead and maintenance couldn’t fix it. This was disconcerting because our room was very far from reception. The fan only had two speeds: high and auto. It was hard to regulate the temperature and when the fan was on it blew hard straight onto the desk where we sat a lot. The room was ok but crowded for two people and two beds since we stayed for multiple days. The bathroom didn’t have as much counter space as I would have liked. There were more issues that I’ve forgotten by now (a few days into my return trip). But when we checked into our hotel in north Texas the next night the difference was dramatic! The cost was the same but Doubletree was lacking a lot in comfort.
Location, staff, price
Celia was amazing and she took care of me and my family!!
I was here for a conference and the staff is so friendly! Everything went so smoothly. Celia was the best. She is so kind and warm and so personable.
The front desk was very helpful throughout my stay. Great space for events and lots of nooks and crannies for small meetings.
The hotel is nice. Rooms are spacious and will kept. The restaurant and bar are very nice. The pool areas is small but no one was in it. They have a small area where you can get snacks and drinks. The staff is very friendly and responsive.
Nothing you can do about this but you can't walk to any coffee shop or cafe.
That the housekeeper knocked at our door at 8:30 wanting to clean our room and we hadn’t checked out yet.
Disappointing. Business trip, client in immediate area, so ideal location. However, several other well-known chain hotels in the area would have been better choices. There for one night, but unacceptable issues: toilet did not flush properly; could not get hot water in shower in the morning, in-room refrigerator set way too cold, so yogurt purchased for breakfast froze solid overnight. Hotel has odd "footprint". My room faced interior public spaces, so surprised to hear voices late into the evening. In the morning realized that my window actually faced the breakfast area, so glad my curtains were drawn, or would have ruined someone's breakfast. Avoid odd number rooms in the "teens" which appear to face this interior area. Continually stunned in most hotels now that guests are not greeted upon arrival with even a cursory "hello" or "welcome". Instead, I was asked, "are you checking in?" I've got a roller bag, a computer bag, and just exited at Lyft at your front door. What might you guess? In no way unique to this hotel, but a clear trend that just reflects a lack of training by hotel management. Net, net - plenty of better choices if need to be in this area of Austin.
he biggest highlight was definitely the front desk staff. Celia, Dion, and Nia were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and went above and beyond what I expected. They were friendly, professional, and truly made a difference during our stay.
The hotel itself is a bit dated, and the rooms could definitely use some updating. We stayed as a family of four in a double room, and it felt pretty tight. The beds are full-size rather than queen-size, which made things a little cramped.
That said, the hotel was still clean, comfortable, and the staff really helped make the overall experience a positive one.
Chris was amazing! He was so attentive and welcoming!
Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
Celia provided us amazing customer service! We had a wonderful stay, everything was comfortable, clean and properly attended. Thanks!
Celia was extraordinary, very helpful and friendly. Will definitely visit again.
Thank you.
We had a short but very pleasant stay at this hotel. Celia stood out with her warmth and incredible ability to make us feel truly welcome. We hope to come back soon and see her managing this place one day. The hotel is very lucky to have her.
My stay was great. The hotel is clean and, you can smell the freshness whenever you walk in. The cookies are amazing and so yummy! Hotel staff were nice and friendly!
We stayed here for a night before my bachelorette trip, the staff was super friendly and the beds were very comfortable!!
Friendly staff and convenient location!
Doubletree Hilton Austin northwest arboretum- I checked in on March 30 with my 94-year-old mother and was greeted and helped by a wonderful woman at the front desk but did not get her name unfortunately . Another gal named l cella at the front desk was also just incredible. I want to praise the amount of help They gave my mother and I over the entire visit really above and beyond and both of these ladies should be rewarded in someway.I’ve traveled all over the world, and these two were truly caring and accommodating. Rare ladies. Give
Them raises seriously as you don’t want to lose them working at the hotel. Thank you.
I always stay here because I just don’t have any issues. Smooth and quick check in… and cookies. Everything is clean and well kept. Stayed for two days and just never have anything bad to say about this place.
