Checking process took to long and staff were not attentive. Shower in my room was not working properly. Room service fees didn’t make sense.
During my check in process I was left waiting very long while three staff were doing nothing.
The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Check-in was smooth, location was great. Exceeded our expectations.
WOW what an incredible visit our family had at the Sonesta White Plains property from June 12-June 17.
My wife and I came back to the Sonesta White Plains and brought my 90 year old father and 88 year old mother to visit their great grandson for the first time. We had a fantastic experience back in February 2026 and that is why we returned again a few weeks ago.
The staff is absolutely unbelievable led by operations manager Joel Perdomo and front desk manager Jacqui del Salto. What they do behind the curtain is something the hotel should be very proud of. All of the employees are very polite and responsive. I am sure I am missing some of the employees, however I would like to single out the following employees who went above and beyond the call of duty to make our visit so fantastic. Nico Ortiz, Bijou, Rosa, Taka, Dominique, Ramon, Alexis, Moises, Nisy and Katrina Pilon..
Also, the Whisk restaurant and food service people were amazing, led by manager Francesca and assistant manager Girish. The servers were extremely attentive and made all of our meals very enjoyable. The servers that took care of our family were Carlos, Billy, Joey and Radhaulz. The food was absolutely delicious and service was first rate.
Our housekeeper Myriam also took wonderful care of us.
My wife and I can't stop singing the praise of your property and the ENTIRE staff.
We look forward to our next visit to the Sonesta White Plains.
I am frustrated with the situation
A lot of people awaiting awaiting check in , they are not willing to do even paperwork till rooms are available
I am afraid there will be a long line at 3 pm
Quite a few events happening at this place. This is a busy place. They should at least do the paper work
I like the property except the getting out of the garage was very frustrating. Also I was told breakfast was until 11am yet at 10:30 am I was told the kitchen was closed. Other than that I thought it was a really nice place.
Rooms were clean.
Rooms were around the corner and across the hallway from each other.
Breakfast was not good and overpriced.
Destination taxes charged! WHY????
Rooms were too expensive and PAID PARKING!
Cleanliness of the hotel.
The rooms were very pricey and small for the price. The hotel did not offer complimentary coffee, any type of Continental breakfast or free parking. I informed the hotel staff that my husband and I were handicapped Seniors and that I did not want a long hallway walk to our suite. This request was totally ignored! I suffer from Multiple Scenarios and my husband is recovering from a hip replacement surgery.
The bathroom with a walk-in shower was inadequate; there was only one half glass door and it had a big hole which allowed water to go on the floor if used! This forced us to use the step in tub for showers or to sponge bathe! The beds slept like a bean bag!! The only microwave available for use was stationed at the other end of the hallway!!!
Rien de special
La reception.
la propreté
La chambre en général
Dinner was lovely in the restaurant downstairs. Staff was incredible!
There was someone hair all over the floors all in the shower shower drains under the tables both sides of the bed on the floor it was really rough being turned off from that part
Be aware of over kill use of bleach in their linens sheets and such that provokes headaches and makes it impossible to sleep !
And very harmful for anyone’s health !!!
The staff and parking
Air conditioning malfunctioning either very hot or very cold.
I liked the view this time out of our room
I felt the room was very small for the upgraded room that I had to afforded. I come every year for a conference. The text message system asking how what i wanted prior to my stay did nothing. I was not happy with cost of rm vs what we stayed in. Food at the bar was not good.
Breakfast was great. Its cost was too high for what you got. Two people should not spend almost sixty dollars to eat buffet style food.
My room was never cleaned in the three nights in which I stayed. My garbage cans were overflowing and I ran out of toilet paper. I had to reach out to the front desk for the garbage and the paper. No help in carrying excessive luggage. I am 61 and my mom is 84. It felt like a self serve hotel dressed up in fine linens. The mattresses were too soft. I struggled to sleep well and my back hurt after the second night.
