Breakfast was just all right, but I think very expensive would’ve wished for two options the full breakfast buffet, and a late breakfast. The rooms were surprisingly renovated, and the bed comfortable. The entire hotel had been renovated except for the exterior which had peeling paint, but the pool was clean and so were the facilities in the rooms.
It was very warm in the room, even though we tried to put the temperature down to 67°. It remained at 72 and the microwave after you put something in and used it locked. You had to unplug it to release the door to open it to get out your item. Also, we were not told when we first checked in that there was a shuttle that would take us to the local racetrack or into town or within a 5 mile radius. We did not find out until the second day there.

I was exhausted by the time I reached the hotel. As I am traveling overseas, I had oversized luggage which I couldn't maneuver alone. I receptionists at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. The put my luggage in storage (which other hotels refused to do), reserved a shuttle for my next day appointment so I wouldn't have to order a taxi. This was all done for an overwhelmed, not very pleasant traveler (ME)! I then calmed down and went into the restaurant for dinner. The bartender/waitress couldn't have been nicer and the meal was delicious. This visit gave me faith in humanity once again.

L’emplacement est parfait à côté de la ville avec les restaurants et les boutiques et d’un grand parc. Il y a 2 piscines une intérieure et l’autre extérieure c’est pratique et la chambre était grande avec des lits confortables
L’hôtel est un peu vieillot et mériterait une rénovation. On entend tout à travers la ventilation de la salle de bain et ce n’est pas très propre dans les couloirs : une assiette sale est restée par terre toute la journée et des papiers et saletés n’ont jamais été nettoyé dans un endroit par terre vers la réception
Amy Krause, the front desk manager, is the epitome of exceptional guest relations. She provided assistance and anticipated further needs. She followed up to be sure we were satisfied and focused on us personally. She and her staff exhibited hometown pride in every encounter. Alice in the dining room and Youssef in Bookmakers went beyond their service requirements to also give us that comfortable hometown feeling in such a big city.
We will return to Holiday Inn Saratoga because of them and especially Amy Krause.
Krys and Brian at the front desk were absolutely incredible. They were kind, knowledgeable and very familiar with the area and made great recommendations!!
